A amazing park with the baseball ground on the side, and walking distance to Jells Park about an hour and other Parks, there's walking tracks and bike tracks if you want to enjoy the scenery in the nice weather
Lovely playground for the kids. One cubby house with long slide for older kids and a smaller cubby house for toddlers under 2yo. Balancing beams and swing to monkey bars. And there is an interesting swinging see saw. Only reason not 5 stars is that there is no toilet.
Always love walking and cycling through here. Easy to park and access with a variety if pathways to suit different abilities. Bird life in abundance. Well used by people of all ages
Easy to clock up 5 or 6 km if you head into some of the smaller tracks you’ll find yourself in and out of Shepherds Bush too and perhaps swing onto the Dandenong Creek Trail for a spell. There are a couple of open spaces for sport, a playground on the other side of the oval, and the main path/track is level and well maintained. On some of the offshoots there are sections of boardwalk, and it can be quite pretty. Though the weeds are sometimes neglected. Oh, and there’s some parking either end. I’d suggest one if the two areas off High Street Road.
Almost exemplary. Fun byways to explore, beautiful plantings, things to balance on, climb up, slide down, swing on. A seesaw. Public toilets! FINALLY humanity is prevailing . Picnic tables. Drinkers for dogs and people. SL next to beautiful big open space. Flaws: picnic tables need shade trees. All the equipment is too small. It's mini-everything, from the circular swing through the seesaw, gymnastic rings, slides, swings. So nothing's very fun except to a 3 year-old. Disappointing. Yet paradoxically the rail is too high. There needs to be a much longer thicker lower rail at, say, 7 or 800mm height for young kids to hook their knees over and do the 360s. Fast and high. That's what kids want AND need! PS the eagle artworks and big gecko are superb
