We were in the area for a couple of hours so decided to get a car wash - we paid $85 for a car wash - $50 for the super wash with the $20 combo upgrade, and then we had to pay a $15 extra dirt surcharge - there was sand and some dried grass in the boot so we didn't quibble about this.  There was sand and dust left all over the dash it didn't look hugely different to how it looked before and there was also hair still all over the upholstery just normal hair, we don't have a dog as well as smudges on the plastic trim, and there was still bird poo on the outside of the car. The boot particularly was still really sandy. It didn't seem that any extra effort went into cleaning the car despite the 'extra dirt' charge and it seemed that the job overall was fairly rushed without much of a final check over or any attention to detail.  We were in a hurry to get out of there they had the car for an hour so didn't have a good look at the car until we drove away. When I emailed later, we were told that we could return within 7 days for an assessment. Unfortunately, we live on the other side of Brisbane and, you know, have jobs, so it was impossible to get back there within the 7 days. My enquiry about attending at a closer Hoppy's location received no response. The response to my email was also defensive with excuses offered for marks remaining, no response regarding why there was so much hair left. There were also marks from a wet sponge left in the console that weren't there before and frankly were pretty gross.  Ultimately, we just felt the attention to detail was very lacking and it wasn't worth the money.

Its. Sad. to see so many workers, Doing there job. Miss so much on my car! this was a 5 star but sadly is now a 2 star and that's only for the person who vacuumed.   Thank you team Hoppy's. Had my car cleaned today and agreed to have seats shampooed.  Was not informed that the additional service would take at least 2 hours it was longer!  This needs to be stated upfront so that customers have the option to return when they have more time.  Car cleaned, however, floors and boot not as clean as I'd have expected for cost.  Overall, frustrated with the customer experience.  Was also advised to keep car doors open for seats to dry only once clean was complete.  Some 7+ hours later and the seats are still too wet for me to close my vehicle up - another thing I was not informed of before proceeding.  Perhaps ask your staff to check whether customers have the time to spare if it's going to be longer than 1 hour.Services:&nbsp;Auto interior vacuuming

First time here. Ordered standard wash with extra wheel clean & tyre shine. Paid $42.  NEGATIVES: Despite paying premium for extra wheel care, I was left with dirty alloys and no tyre shine. Many neglected areas throughout the car. Basically you pay $42 for something you could easily get for $16 at the average automatic car wash. I guess there's no quality control in place. Disappointed.  POSITIVES: Whole car wash seems to be well organised to streamline the process. Nice waiting area with small cafe. Staff friendly.

Visited Hoppy’s this morning as felt I could not clean my car sufficiently to remove mud from back seat. Upon arriving I showed the problem area to the cleaner. Was assured that that interior clean I.e vacuum and cleaning of plastic surfaces would clean mud off the back seat. Charged $55.00 for this. Returned to my vehicle after the clean, back seat still muddy, minimal improvement. After asking about the poor clean I was informed that this needed to be steam cleaned but due to the weather this was unable to occur today. I am annoyed that this was not explained initially as I would have waited until later date when weather permitted to get my backseat steam cleaned. Photo is of seat post clean, please note seat belts had not been wiped down either.

First time here. Waited 30mins in line. Fair enough, they looked busy. My car was FAR from dirty so all I wanted was a hand wash. Took another 15mins for them to wash the car. I reckon the 2 guys spent a good one and a half minutes washing it. After which it went along the conveyor where spinning brushes went up the side. Not what you'd expect from a handwash. Car then went out and was dried in the sun, which might have taken another 3 or 4. Car smelt like BO, and seat was left all the was back. Car was not cleaned, rinsed or dried properly. Fuel cap full of suds still. Water spots on car. Lots of grime on wheel arches, which simply wiped off.

Yesterday we took my father's car in for a super combo wash which cost $75.50. It took 1.5 hours and the car was still not very clean after the wash with noticeable dirt stains on the exterior that they had clearly missed, and one of the staff tried to clean it up after we pointed them out. We had errands to run so we drove off to the shops and then realised the back window buttons were gone from the driver's door! My husband went back to Hoppy's and at first they tried to tell him it must've already been broken, which is complete codswallop because the car is in great condition. They managed to find one button, and then afterwards turned the place upside down to find the other. They said it's completely normal as they use a compressed airgun to clean the interior but how could they not notice two buttons flying off?? I think they tried to hide this from us and didn't even bother notifying us that they'd clearly damaged it. They tried to put the buttons back but now they're very loose and we have to take it back to the dealership. They refused to pay for the repairs and insisted they'd fixed it even though they're no longer attached properly, and walked off. They even tried to hold the buttons ransom, wanting to keep them?! Such rude behaviour. We had to insist that they put them back so we can use the window functionality. We will not be returning to Hoppy's and will certainly warn everyone not to use their services as they clearly do not take any care with their customers' vehicles.

My dad got his car washed and it was looking good but the roof and front part above the steering wheel were missed. We then went back the next day Friday 14/10/2022 and spoke to an extremely helpful gentleman that I didn’t get the name of unfortunately. He was very understanding and cleaned it up right away, excellent service, especially considering they were quite busy as the time. On the off chance he sees this, thank you very much!
