Hoppy's Toowong

Went for a wash and vac and was really disappointed with the result. Water marks and dirt all over the exterior, especially on the bonnet. Was the first thing I thought was that it looked the same as before... interior vac was very average and there was loose grass and dirt throughout. The only redeeming part were the clean rims and interior windows. I would never go back, it’s just a shame it’s the only car wash in the area. Considering it was a simple clean I was after, it was definitely not worth $45, I could have done a much better job myself!

Not happy! Aside from that fact that the super wash was $45 the attendant then tried to change me $67 for “excess dirt” which was honestly a joke because my car was not that dirty to begin with. I would say the dirt level was standard. Your going to bring a completely clear car to be washed, am I right? Picked it up to still find the interior poorly cleared with minimal wiping even through it was said to be included in the wash I purchased. And to top it off, the only bird poo stain was not even removed completely. Very angry!!

Spent $180 for inside/outside clean, polish, wax and all the other good stuff only to have the inside vacuumed again, wasnt wiped down peoperly, outside was good but inside, i could have done a better job at home.

Very pushy and arrogant person greeting. My prado was due to be washed post camping trip. Wanted to get a simple wash option for about $50. Person tried to upsell $250 option. I expected the extra charge for having 4wd but the attitude of "it'll still be dirty" or "your choice but you won't be happy" just not called for. I asked him to remove the extra services in the quote and he jammed on another "excess dirt" charge. Phone call to head office to let them know about poor customer service and was waiting for a call back but never happened. Went to supercheap and bought some gear to wash it myself. Saved $200 and the car is perfect again.

I have had mixed experiences here, and after moving back to the area decided to give it another chance. The price of the wash I wanted was astronomical compared to competitors. Comparing my quote to hoppys brochure I could not fathom how the attendant arrived at that figure. His attitude drove my rating right down to one star. Very busy so my case may be isolated.
