Preston and Vermont locations are owned by the same franchisee, which is why they're both on my ban list because: - Demanding to see proof of employment (corp discount rate) even though I've veen renting for 5 yrs - sending me text messages saying they have reported the car stolen because Im late returning it (look at my profile and how often I rent... you really think I'm stealing your car?) - insisting on going through every minor detail like its my first time - No one class upgrades I'd much rather travel to Flinders St where you're custom is appreciated

Terrible, rude and unpleasant manager who does not understand the concept of customer service. Will give a Zero star rating if possible.

They offered me points for my rental then realised they'd lose money so refused to honour their contract. Terrible service from their customer relations team.

Worst experience ever! Bad communication, very unprofessional handling if something is nonstandard. I never rent with Hertz again and especially not with the base in Preston. Our car was hit by another car, so instead of going directly to the insurance of the guy who hit our car, they made us pay for the whole thing even though it was not our fault. However, they said that they would contact us as soon as possible after they got the money from the insurance and pay us back. After 2 months of waiting for an update, we called ourselves. They didn't know anything and said they will call us back the same day. They didn't. After another 2 weeks of waiting we called again. They came up with the excuse that the lady who wanted to call us was sick. We called about 5 times now without receiving any news from their side. Every time they have an excuse and don't give us any updates. It is now 3 months that we paid a high amount of money without being updated if the insurance of the guy who hit our car is going to pay.
