It is with much joy and fondness that I reflect on the process of having my wedding dress made.  I didn't have strong views in mind as I visited all the bridal stores around town, but after a visit to Gwendolynne's beautiful and considered boutique in Fitzroy, I understood how special the bridal gown process could be.  I opted for a made to measure dress, and felt that this represented very good value considering the time, love and effort that goes in to the design and dressmaking process. Each visit to the boutique was just so enjoyable and I truly felt that Gwendolynne and the team would stop at nothing to ensure my gown was the perfect fit.  The team even reached out to ensure I had a warmer option when the weather was not as expected on my wedding day!  I would have no hesitation recommending Gwendolynne for any occasion.

Having a dress hand made by Gwendolynne was one of the highlights of my wedding.  There is so much thought and care that goes into her gowns I felt like I was wearing something truly made with love.  She was so accommodating with my wishes and even went out of her way to provide me with a range of colours to choose from.  You wont regret having a dress made by Gwendolynne, it will be the most beautiful and comfortable dress you are ever likely to wear.

I must say Gwendolynne and her exquisite creations are simply divine. She really must have magical powers, as each gown is superbly crafted for the female form! I have never worn a dress which fit more perfectly and made me feel more beautiful than one of her gowns. The attention to detail is extraordinary, and the designs are unique and instantly recognisable as being 'Gwendolynne'.

I felt like a treasure as soon as I entered her beautiful and peaceful showroom as the genuine warmth and welcome from both Gwendolynne and her team enfolded me. I know you'll feel like the best version of yourself wearing one of her gowns. Truly.

You may think me biased as I am Gwendolynne’s sister but I’ve experienced the joy of having bespoke outfits made by this gifted woman and the experience is always incredible.  It’s so exciting to have your dreams & ideas come to life and refined by such an expert. By the end you will not only have a breathtaking outfit you will also receive honest advice around undergarments, shoes and accessories.

Growing up along side Gwendolynne I have seen (first hand) her relentless passion for her craft.  I have witnessed her spend countless hours building her business and know how driven & passionate she is. You are in very good hands if you commission my sister to make an outfit.

Gwendolynne is a rarity. She and her talented team deliver a bespoke, olde world service, that is high end in its delivery and offers a crafted, timeless quality. The care and attention to detail is superlative in its fastidiousness and second to none. This has seen her pieces worn at a myriad of weddings, including those of numerous mutual friends, right across to red carpet events by A List celebrity clients from around the world. Anyone that can’t work with Gwendolynne and her teams vision doesn’t understand the value of what they deliver.
