Unfortunately had such a bad time with the shop assistant at the fitzroy store. Instead of helping me find clothing that actually fit me she told me I should get my clothes altered outside of the store. Then when asked how something was meant to fit structurally she kept insisting things that didn't fit me where fine, the item didn't even zip up. I understand upselling as a business but this felt rude and unhelpful. I'm an average size, who was just looking for some genuine help.

I had the most wonderful customer service at Assembly!! I bought a beautiful linen dress and unfortunately one of the straps broke. I rang the store to explain and their customer service was absolutely faultless. They were happy to swap it over and post it out to me as I live an hour away. I would highly recommend shopping at Assembly as they are so helpful right through your shopping experience. Thank you Assembly for your lovely staff and service x

Terrible customer service at the Fitzroy store, was ignored when I walked in, they saw me enter but choose to look the other way and we're very cold in personality as if they were working in high end fashion!! Then to top off an annoying and rude shopping experience at Assembly Label, they had next to no sizes of anything! What a joke!! Think twice before giving this company money, sounds like the quality isn't great either.

We purchased gift vouchers for this store, only to be told we were unable to use them because of a ‘new system’ when we made the trip in to the store. I then called a day later and explained the situation and I received a luke warm apology and was told to come back, and they’d be expecting us. We visit the store again and are told the item we’ve been trying to purchase is in the change room with another customer that wants to buy it. Another wasted trip. This place is a nightmare and they need to work on their customer service. The end.

Friendly staff. Aesthetically pleasing. Good quality. Limited mens line.
