Superb value for your money. It gives you such kick of intensity and strength of a flavour that doesn’t let you down, my Mocha felt like I don’t need to give up. This place just takes away any bad vibes and give you a great coffe for your money
Stopped to have a coffee while the wife did a spot of shopping. Trendy little cafe with a roaster on display at the back of the store. Service was excellent and the coffee wasn't bad but not great. Choice of still or sparkling water was a nice touch.
I'm snobbish about my coffee, these guys were great! I have my own espresso machine, so I make my own coffee everyday, and have taken the "I don't trust other people with my coffee" type of attitude. I'm not ride about it, but am aware how that sounds, anyway, these guys talked me into giving them a shot with their coffee and I was not disappointed at all, the coffee was great and the latté art was on point!!
Best coffee ever. Highly recommend, don’t miss it.
The coffee is always made to perfection! And they’re one of the only cafés that don’t charge extra for soy or almond milk. Today we got complimentary Anzac cookies with our order too... it’s the small thingsGreat coffee, lovely staff, what’s not to love?
Absolutely gorgeous coffee! Staff are super friendly, perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious coffee with a cheeky pastry. Also got a great deal on coffee beans to take home with me. Favourite cafe on Lygon st!
Doesn’t seem to fit in on Lygos Street as well as it should. Perhaps the interior is too small making it feel like a hole-in-the-wall coffee counter rather than a sit down cafe. Might get more of customers if they opened at 7 instead of 8am. Piccolo was well made.
Went to Grinders everyday for a week and everytime the coffee, food and service was excellent. They even provide milk alternatives at no extra cost and student discounts. Wonderful
Honestly coffee was pretty good. Reasonably priced and came with a cheap egg muffin : might just be a limited time deal though. Will probably come back again!
When I arrived here, I was unaware of the history behind the venue. Ask the staff if you ever visit. While the coffee is focused on the 60% of the market in which I do not reside, for milk drinkers, it should be a solid experience.
