They were hands down the best Italian food,the best Pappardelle I have ever tried. Their hot chocolate is absolutely delicious as well. I'll definitely be coming back for the food, desserts and the lovely staff. What a great experience.
8/10 Roulade and food, can't go wrong, coffee not so, latte was 3/10.
Pasquale is the consummate host and makes wonderful coffees. Love the food, drinks and atmosphere. The recent renovation has freshened it up as well along with the menu changes. You have to try the Ricotta Hotcakes! :
Highly recommend cafe for breakfast and lunch. Traditional Italian, run by Italians. Great coffee, food and atmosphere. Prefer this over the congested and touristy Brunetti's around the corner. Semi-dried tomatoes are amazing, best I've ever had!
Loved the roulade. Delicious and well priced in a generally overpriced area. Good coffee. If you are looking for dessert on Lygon St, Carlton, go here!
Friendly and prompt service and delicious food. The decor is quite basic but don't let that fool you.
Australia' first and original Italian deli.. And the Tiramisu is awesome
Had great service, and a fantastic smoked salmon, capers and feta panini. I've been a number of times because the staff and food are great.
Excellent food and service by lovely people.
