Warm, friendly service and atmosphere to compliment the delicious meal I had. masala chai latte, fritters + add on the house made relish. Recommend!
Warm and friendly cafe, workers are excellent, setting is wonderful. Food was great although the "mushroom ragout " could certainly of had more mushrooms and the acai bowls could of had more muesli. If it wasn't for the lack of ingredients. It would certainly be a five star rating from me. Excellent work guys! Great cafe!
Fantastic food and coffee. Is a regular spot of mine. Service is always good also. My only criticism is that although the food is fantastic and delicious, the portion sizes are not consistent for some reason. I usally order the big breakfast and the portions vary greatly each time i go in. Would appreciate some consistency to know what i am getting.
Beautiful people, fantastic food and great location! I go here every morning for my coffee, and I eat brunch here too. The service was very friendly and the owners are so cheerful and pleasant! Food was delicious, quick and beautifully presented! 10/10 would recommend to a friend!
Service was fast, warm, and friendly. My soy cappuccino went down a treat and ham and cheese croissant was perfect. I'm happy I randomly stumbled across this place and would definitely come back again.
Cafe Lua is the best cafe in Carlton. Ash will make you a fantastic coffee. Have been coming here for years and it is still as good as ever. Their food is delicious. I strongly recommend their burgers, smashed avocado on toast and fritters. Deserts are amazing too. It is on the corner with pleanty of bike racks and lots of natural light inside. Well worth it.
Doesn't look like much, just a nice homey little café, which admittedly is a nice change from the Melbourne, hipster overly stylish cafes. really wasn't expecting a lot, but the classic big breakfast was one of the best I've had in a looong time. The owners are lovely too. Highly recommend the big brekky!
Service was very good, food ok and coffee better than many other places it is a nice spot to sit outside. I had to ask for sugar for my coffee not that big a deal and unfortunately the spoon that came with my coffee was dirty all my other cutlery were ok.
I wanted to get some work done and tried to savor my mushroom ragout slowly while I typed. Nope. Devoured my plate. Amazing food and service. Perfect for a sunny day spent relaxing.
