Give Nick a pay-rise, I went in to buy a different carpet cleaner to what I ended up with only $100 bucks more than what I was expecting to pay. He instantly stopped what he was doing when I walked in and offered his assistance. Giving a demo on the carpet cleaner he recommended I am very happy with the service and the Hoover Smartwash + did an amazing job at cleaning my carpet. I don’t normally write reviews but thought this was well deserved!
Quickly popped in to buy a vacuum in the weekend. Knew what I wanted. Wish I'd gotten the guys name but he was very bubbly, energetic and just made me feel they really do value their customers. He put a smile on my face when I was having a rough day AND made me giggle. A ++++ customer service! Thank you
I have purchased a Tineco Floor One S5 Pro Hard Floor Cleaner from Godfreys Takanini about a month ago. I am very happy with my purchase. Cleaning hard floors is a breeze now. Thank you Simon for demonstrating and explaining how the machine works and comparing different models so that I could choose a model most suitable for my needs.
Simon and Jay are the bomb. Fantastic service with professional advice. This is my 2nd big purchase from this store and both times I haven't been disappointed. This time I brought a Hoocer carpet cleaner. In fact my sis travels from Tauranga just for the service from this store. Both Paula and I will be back. Thank you very much. Also Jay recommended a spray for cat urine and odours. I have tried many brands and was sceptical but I brought it and tried it and it was an instant success!! No more stink! I'm stoked thanks heaps Jay I'll be sticking with this product.

Brought a vacuum and a carpet cleaner and went back to return just by 3 days late cause i really had good reason but the guy won’t let me. Been buying my machine from youse for more then 5 years now but today just put me off. My first time coming to return something cause yous rushed me in buying and this is what i get in return. So not fair!!!!
I went in to Godfreys Takanini to buy a Hoover allergy vacuum after using my sister's one. I currently own 4 Dyson's I checked online, saw they had stock, and rocked in just before closing. I expected a grumpy unhelpful salesperson. Hell no! Complete opposite. I got Jay. This man rocks!! 100% committed, friendly, professional, honest and so helpful Even though it was closing time, he still gave me the full demo, which was amazing to see the 3 different vacuums! If you want to buy a new vacuum, go see Jay and ask to see the full demo. Best $800 I ever spent! I will be back Jay to buy that German one, one day soon. Thanks very much!
Absolutely impressed with Jay's customer service today! My partner and I purchased the Bissell Little Green carpet cleaner this afternoon from him, and he was very friendly, fast, and informative - recommending a carpet shampoo to compliment the cleaner. I was going to buy it from a different store but Jay's friendly voice over the phone drew me in to the Takanini store, and he was even better in person!
Was served by Jay, he was attentive, very helpful, friendly and great customer service, nothing was a bother to him. Other shops could do with training their staff to be like him, thanks Jay your a star I even complimented him when leaving store, that he was lovely.
I am saying a big thankyou to Godfreys Takanini. I went to the store a couple weeks ago and purchased a new cordless Tineco vacuum. I couldn't be happier with the unit, it is fantastic. I would recommend this unit to anyone and in fact I have. Also the service and knowledge from Jay was exceptional
