Pretty big store with plenty of variety of household items. Briscoes have always some kind of sale going on. So we always wait for sale on the item I need.nTowels, toaster and other kitchen items, travel bags and accessories etc all available.nThe quality of goods is excellent. I hardly have to return any faulty items.nAmbiance is good and it’s always welcoming to come over for shopping.nThe staff are friendly and courteous. Help out when you need something.nPlenty of parking available around the store.
The items are in good condition and quality but I recommend to shop when the price on 50 to 60 per cent off.nStaff is friendly.
Absolutely terrible experience. Ordered a firepit and they completely ignored my delivery instructions. Instead, they threw the firepit over a 3-meter gate onto my concrete driveway in the rain, breaking the waterproof housing of my gate motor and letting rainwater inside. When I called to complain, they didn’t apologize or seem to care, and told me to contact the courier company myself. As a customer, I shouldn’t have to deal with third-party companies you subcontract your deliveries to.nnI was then told to take the unit to a store for a refund, with notes supposedly added to the invoice for a full refund. This didn’t happen. In-store staff couldn’t see any notes, and I had to explain everything again. They argued about the refund and had to call their online team. After that, they tried to only credit my product and not the delivery fee, claiming services weren’t covered under the Consumer Guarantees Act CGA, which they absolutely are. Only after I told them I would escalate through the CGA did they refund me, and even then, the store refused to do it, saying the online team would handle it. They bad-mouthed the online team, saying they were a separate part of the company.nnAs a now former customer, I don’t care about your internal politics. I just want my issue sorted. At the end of the day, I got no product, no apologies, zero solutions offered, and was fobbed off to other parts of the business. My expensive electronic gate is broken from the delivery person’s vandalism throwing a heavy metal firepit at it.nnI understand a third-party delivery company let you down, but instead of using the opportunity to reimpress a customer, you chose to show how unprofessional you are and how little you value your customer base.nnI didn’t purchase a delivery from your third party; I purchased from you. A little sympathy and maybe an offer of a gift card or something as a small gesture for the issues of this purchase to get me to shop with you again was all that was needed. Instead, I was dismissed and treated with disrespect. Briscoes tried to refund me the minimum I was entitled to under the law and only begrudgingly did so once they knew I was aware of my legal rights. If I could give negative stars, I would.nnThis is the worst customer service I have ever seen, and I have worked in service and retail all my life.
After 2 texts saying my click and collect was ready to pick upnHad to wait further 10 minutes while counter staff called over loud speaker that's my order was readynThen another customer went through same experiencenEvery 2 minutes counter staff repeated that orders were here to collectnHave a inkling the floor staff picked the goods per announcementnAlso original counter staff handed over to another personnMust have been her breaknFfsnnSorry this service is shockingnOther people would deserve the job
These guys don't replace the faulty dehumidifier even purchased a week ago. Bring it here and will look into it. They don't replace it even it is been purchased a week before. And this is their store managers words. Also said they don't have time today and askt to bring some other day. Bad customer service experience.
