I love Gloria Jean's Coffee. Service standards at Chermside store vary depending who is on duty. Don't know his name but the guy who was on today about 12:30pm is always great with his customer service. He is an asset to the business & I hope the Franchisee appreciates his hard work. I've noticed if he's not on when I go there, the service can be slack and slow. He seems to have the knack of getting customers served quickly and their orders made promptly.
Absolutely terrible! I order an regular vanilla iced latte with almond milk however, when drinking it I noticed the milk was off and little flaky white pieces where floating to the top. The coffee also smelt off. Would never recommend this store again. Very disappointed.
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The girl who served me my coffee was unbelievably rude. She didn’t yell out that my coffee was ready she just placed it on the bench, I thought maybe the coffee was part of a larger order since she didn’t say anything, 5 mins later I asked if my coffee was almost ready and she told me that it was mine that was on the bench. I told her that no one yelled out that it was ready and she gave me a filthy look and said that she had. I was standing AT the counter. She said nothing. So in the end I got a lukewarm $6 coffee and I’ll never go there again.
Not a good experience at all. I’ve been to other Gloria Jean’s Coffee and the experience was good overall, but on this one I wasn’t lucky starting with the attendant that wasn’t willing to help and the taste of the coffee that was far behind any other coffee place. Not coming back here again!
Unpleasant experience. Bought a coffee on Easter sunday will not be going back. The counter service was bordering on rude. I don't understand why those who choose to work in service and don't like the job - still take up these positions??? Left a bad taste in my mouth.
The coffee is OK, and the staff are friendly and it doesn’t take long to get a coffee or dessert item after you order. As for the seating, you basically have to whole food court, so if you were trying to have a conversation good luck because it’ll be noisy.
Awesome staff always friendly manager is awesome always looks out for regular customers even does coffee for us retailers in his own time if we're a bit earlier than opening times betters white chocolate mocha and salted caramel chillers kicks Starbucks butt lol
Gloria Jean's makes ok coffee although I found it to be a very strong coffee, and the staff were quick and efficient but need to be louder and clearer when calling out names as my coffee was left sitting on bench for at least 5 minutes
I spilt my coffee everywhere and they were so lovely about it. She even remade my coffee without charge. I can’t remember her name, but blonde long hair and black glasses. Thank you and I’m sorry !!
Gloria Jeans Coffees Cafe is strategicaly positioned at the entrance to the Food Hall. A modern design in a circular shape giving good access from all sides. The counters are of a light stained wood, with inlayed panels in a dark coffee shade, which is consistent with the Gloria Jeans Logo back ground. There is a front panel which has a large monogram. There are wooden high stools around one section of the counter, which makes for comfortable easy eating and drinking. The counter shelves display a range of their coffee's, flavoured syrups, thermal drinking mugs, and a range of Gloria Jeans endorsed Espresso machines, with all the accessories. The main display cabinet has an enticing range of cakes, muffins, sandwhiches, wraps, etc,. along the top of the cabinets a dozen or more large cookie jars displaying yummy treats. I had a Texas orange poppyseed muffin, warmed very good for texture & taste, and a coffee which was as expected, made to perfection, with a chocolate lingering after taste. I found the service excellent for the lunch time rush hour, the staff were friendly and helpful. A good coffee stop.
