Will be great once improvement works are completed. Update : Picnic tables and water tanks have been built on the clearing, making it a great place to come watch the sunrise over the Lockyer Valley. At the moment there is water flowing over Hell Hole falls Picnic area: There are three tables at the clearing each has its own shelter providing shade from the sun or protection from rains.
Paths are a little bit overgrown but pleasant enough.
Great walk right on the edge of Toowoomba, All down hill and then All up hill. Good facilities and well made trails.
Easy trail most of the way, but can just pick your own path as you get close to the falls. Would recommend, good adventure
Beautiful scenery over the valley as you walk around the perimeter of the park, with a few short forays deeper in. The Hell Hole Falls trail goes down into the bowl, a 3 hour return trip if you're feeling adventurous. Tracks aren't that well developed, but you have the feeling of full immersion in nature, with an abundance of birdlife. A few nice picnic areas have been cleared among the trees along the trail to stop and rest.
Great hike and fantastic views
What a great spot, so close to the Toowoomba CBD. I hiked there for 3 hours on a Sunday morning and only saw one other person. Very tranquil and feels remote despite being just over the side of the range from town. Highly recommend the inaccurately named Hell Hole Gorge. It is very easy to loose the path though, but suitable for experienced off track walkers. The wildflowers and flowing tranquil creek were some of the highlights.

Lot of physical effort to reach small waterfall area. Nice though for a look
Lovely walk. A bit disappointing that the trail/posts didn't have length of trails.
