They could be awesome if they cleaned up the bottom of silt. Ducks and turtles have overrun the place and no natural bottom grass or weed can grow to filter the water. Someone also needs to attend to this and put some Koi in the ponds...who knows there might be some there but the brown water ruins it. Apart from that awesome potential to be the best Japanese gardens in Queensland.

These gardens are most definitely a credit to the staff of gardeners along with the input from the local Toowoomba regional council. The gardens reflects the commitment to a sister city in Japan. One can feel the quite ambience as soon as you enter the grounds. The amount of work put into the grounds especially the trimming to all the trees makes one feel as though they are in another world. A most enjoyable and peaceful place to visit and just to love the atmosphere.

A lot of things and effort went into creating this beautiful garden.. It could do with any eatery so people could sit back and have a dining experience whilst looking out on such serene surrounds. Seriously worth a visit.

The gardens were good, but not as good as I anticipated though they weren't in bad shape. The duck pond is quite dirty, but I don't think this can be cleaned with all the ducks using it and possibly stirring up and messing in it regularly. Did not like the fact that you have to exit the garden to access public toilets in an obscure position at the back of the gardens.

Beautiful as always. The gardens are pristine and wildlife plentiful. Perfect spot for a day out from a picnic to a wedding and makes for stunning photographs.
