I’ve been here 4 times, tried the black garlic, karamen, and spicy tan-tan. All great! I’ll go back to try the other flavours for sure.nnI suggest going on a weekday afternoon to avoid the queue. It’s always a long queue because you have to make your order first outside. Everyone waits outside, and the staff would come out to call the queue numbers of those who want to dine in and invite them in to a table.
One of my friends recommended this place. I’m Japanese and there are many terrible ramen restaurants in Brisbane. However, this ramen was sooooo good. It was just like in Japan.nnI ordered the Tantanmen, the Soup and noodles were really good Shio ramen was also good Karaage and gyoza were very tasty nnThe staffs were very kind and friendly, and also the extra noodles are free One of my friends ate 5 extra noodles nnIt’s near a bus stop, was nearby K-mart in Toowong. I really want to go there again
This ramen shop is more like an institution of Brisbane. Their broth is very flavourful and has great depth. My experience throughout the years has been consistently excellent.
Still good after moving from Runcorn. First stop to visit after landed. A bit of line up. Get to order in the kiosk prior. Food doesn't take long before seated. Not so salty broth. Nice runny egg. Good thickness of chashu. Owner is still got the grumpy face, busy kind of look.
Ah authentic ramen. I tried black garlic sauce ramen. It was unique and delicious. The service was good but 4 stars because there was no real service to talk about. Very systematic and minimal interaction with customers. It could be a good thing for some people.
