It's rare to find a restaurant of this calibre out of the city. Mariosarti is perhaps the finest dining in Toowong and surrounds. The service is characteristically Italian, remarkably friendly and generous with the wine. Food is top notch, truly fitting the niche of superbly cooked food, although I would suggest contemporary Australian is the more dominate flavour over traditional Italian. You will find the meals structured in the Italian tradition, and you will be satisfied with their mainstays. The price is quite like the food, in the sense that is rich. Or you will need to be, if you make dinning here too frequent. I have heard that the menu hasn't changed enough over time. I am lacking the visits to comment whether this is the case. Kudos to you, if you can afford to eat here often enough that the menu gets boring.

Couldn’t recommend this place more highly than I do. Food has always been amazing and the staff exceptional. Loved this place every time I’ve been. They’ve yet to serve a dish of food I didn’t thoroughly enjoy.

So disappointing that after being frequent regular diners for about 20 years it’s just not been the same since change of ownership. We have been back 4-5 times since the ownership change to support a business we’ve loved going to for family nights, dinners with friends and date nights but each time we’ve left disappointed with the food being either over cooked, flavorless or both. The service has lost its personal warmth too and whilst the new owner has appeared to be attentive to selected tables each time we’ve been there, our table as being a regular has not ever got any as much as a glance or greeting or acknowledgement that we are dining there (next to a table she’s just visited). We returned tonight to give it another try. Barramundi was over cooked and dry and lacked flavor so asked for fresh lemon which helped a little, the side of broccoli greens was cold as was the mussel in the marinara. We enjoyed the rocket salad. Time to pay....not nice to be questioned by the owner after an already noted not great dinner experience, as to who gave us the voucher we handed over when paying the bill. The voucher was given as a result of a previously poor dinner experience there. Sad to say, after all the past years of consistent high quality dining and great personal service at Mario Sarti, we don’t wish to go back.

I’ve taken family and business colleagues to this restaurant and we’ve always been delighted by the food and wine. Attentive and welcoming service.
