Gemelli Italian is a contemporary Italian Restaurant located in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast, combining traditional methods with modern flair to its menu.

Story

Gemelli simply translates from Italian to Twins, which is exactly what we are. Coming from a family of Italian heritage we were brought up to appreciate good food and more importantly, how to cook it! Whether it be the annual sauce and salami making with Nonno, or simply sharing a glass of vino with family and friends, we have always had a passion for Italian food and culture.

Our contemporary setting coupled with a vibrant atmosphere gives you the unique experience of our modern Italian establishment. A combination of traditional methods and modern flair, has allowed us to design a menu influenced by the many diverse regions of Italy, to deliver the best of Italian culture to Broadbeach.

We had such a great time at Gemelli Italian. We ordered a pizza and fried calamari, then stayed for drinks with friends. The atmosphere is amazing, such a fun and lively place.nnThe pizza was honestly one of the best Margheritas I’ve ever had, and the calamari was delicious too. The staff were very friendly and took great care of us the whole time. Prices were reasonable and the portions were good as well. Definitely recommend!
My girlfriend and I celebrated a anniversary / valentines day celebration last night and I just would like to say the moment we walked in we were greeted and had our table set and ready to go.nnThe waiter offered us prosecco on the house which I thought was a lovely way to start off our dinner. Also came with a card to celebrate our special day.nnOur waitress for the night was Hayely she was amazing her customer service was fantastic she made us feel comfortable and made our experience great!nnFood was also fantastic thank you chefs. Only thing was the Burrata not the taste but just presention needed a pop of colour. Food came out super quick everything was timed perfectly.nnCocktails amazing my favourite is the Amaretto Sour and they did a great job on that also.nnFor dessert we had the Nutella Bomba probably the only reason we went to Gemelis was because of the amazing dessert I think we needed to be rolled out of the restaurant after that nnThis place is hands down such a great place for Couples, Friends and Family's i can't fault this place at all.
I was recommended to book at Gemelli and I was very happy that I did.nWe arrived early to our dinner booking are the staff we able to sit us in.nThe atmosphere was just buzzing. The staff were very accommodating and quick with service food and drinks. The kids absolutely loved their pasta dishes and the gluten free pizza base was amazing light and puffy very delicious. You can taste the difference with home made pasta and pizza bases.nHighly recommend
Auguste was super amazing, so attentive to our whole evening making sure everything was correct. I also picked her recommendation for a cocktail and it was so amazing, she was correct in saying it didn’t even taste like alcohol!! It was so sweet and right up my alley, it was the Italian kiss. The pizza was also crazy good! Never thought fig would be good on pizza but here I am, I got the princepessa pizza and me and my Mum were in looooveee We also got dessert, the mains were the perfect portion to leave room for dessert! The tiramisu was to dieeee for. The vibes of the restaurant are also very beautiful, warm and cozy. Prices are also quite reasonable for an Italian restaurant at Broadbeach! Pizzas were within the ~$30 range and it was perfect! Thanks team for this amazing night, will be back again some day and shout out to Auguste once again!!!
I’ve been to Roy’s by Gemelli in Bundall before, but this was my first visit to Gemelli in Broadbeach. Although we had a reservation, the restaurant was extremely busy. Perhaps because we requested a kids seat, it took more than 30 minutes after our reservation time for us to be seated.nnThe course meals and drinks were also quite delayed, and it took another 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive. We ended up staying for over four hours. As I had children with me, I had to leave before my friends finished their meals. It was likely due to the Christmas period and how busy the restaurant was.nnThat said, the food was delicious — especially the Burrata e Prosciutto. The creamy, smooth burrata paired beautifully with the homemade focaccia, and the salty prosciutto added a perfect balance.nnI would love to visit again on a quieter weekday.
