Took the whole family for something nice to do as visiting from interstate. Haven't been there for 25 plus years, and I believe it was similar to the Rocky Horror Picture Show theme back then. We enjoyed ourselves. Although placed in the side pews so couldn't see half the stage. Constructive criticism: is that we did find the Theme Menagerie to the show hard to follow, as it was all over the place. The acrobatics/aerials were of course AWESOME. But....After going to The Pink Flamingo, the weekend prior, I guess in comparison, they really gripped you in from the beginning, and the theme flowed really well. The rest of the family agreed, that Dracula's theme, well ....it just didn't flow, it was very random, disjointed and you really had to listen to their communication to catch the commentary of humour, which I also think the over-seas visitors would not have gotten the gist of. The meals were nice, although entree meat balls were a bit dry/bland even with the salsa poured on top, the mains were fine, and the desert a tad too sickly, too much sweet chocolate, with more sweet mouse and sweet sauce in the bottom. It is good to go out for the night, but I wouldn't recommend it over the Pink Flamingo at this stage. The service was fast paced which was fine, but we had a drink knocked over by the staff and no replacement offered, just a handful of napkins. Advertising bottles of JD and coke but served in a glass, and weak. Drinks are quite expensive.
Do not miss! A great night out! The show was excellent - very entertaining. We made a last minute online booking the morning of the show and were able to secure 2 VIP tickets for Saturday night. Dinner was very tasty service was great. A quality show and a real treat - so much fun great for couple or groups.
Amazing show, amazing performers, great meals, fantastic service, the show is not for the easily offended, however, if you like a cross between moulin rouge and the rocky horror picture show with some clever comedy, then you'll have a blast, great music, great vibe, high energy.
We’d always wanted to try this place, especially since the striking building always caught our eye, though it seemed like it was rarely open. When we arrived, the vibe was electric, with a queue of people eagerly waiting outside. Inside, there was a surprise that I’ll keep secret for now. The show and food were absolutely incredible—a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. But I’m already looking forward to going back!
The atmosphere was really amazing, we were so hyped, honestly, the whole entrance and the venue is incredible. The show, however, was not that impressive. Even though the show called “Dracula’s” there was nothing about Dracula or vampires…. Was a random show, no connection, and not all the artists were professional. But the venue and entrance was, the full atmosphere of the entering the place was outstanding.
