This shop is gettig worse with cooking, the Souvlaki's used to be nice but now they taste like horrible slop! Chicken in both Souvlaki's were dry and not tasty at all let alone like they were coal cooked, below par and disgusting. Don't get me started on their cooking of normal fish and chips and their manners. I will be going to the fish and chips shop 5 shops up from them as the are soooooo much better!. Also if you are walking past their back shop fence hold your nose because it absolutley smells of rotting food 24/7 from their bins, and the back yard is worse with skanky pots, pans, buckets and left over food products, and the birds are always hanging around for the rotten food... The smell, OMG the smell or rotting food from Flake on Lurline... Do yourself a "flavour!" move along and get something better

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The busy counter reflects the well deserved popularity of this simple suburban fish shop with a great menu of delicious seafood and sides. Our simple dine-in meal was quickly prepared and delicious. Worth our detour!  Kid-friendliness: Family friendly.  Parking: A very popular short street shopping area, but a regular turnover of parking spaces.

Flake on Lurline…. OMG am I right….?  This has got to be one of the best Fish & Chip shops I’ve ever been too.  The two guys running the shop are easy to talk to and happy to have a chat while your waiting for your tucker.  Try these guys and you will Love there tucker.  Live it…..

Tired and sore in pain walked in to Lurline  fish and chip. Hello madam what would you  like placed order for family. Top marks for Hamburgers Grilled fish lovely moist  thick.Potato  cakes with thick potatoe Chips nice crunchy Top marks for service and taste  20/10/22

If your looking for a good feed of Fish & Chips, this is the place to avoid. Would never recommend anyone to eat from here. My family and I spent $100+ on dinner last night and what’s only a 3 minute walk home, we opened our fish & chips to the site of soggy mashed up fish....... we called and spoke to one of the workers and was promised a re fund only to go back into the shop to get another bunch of so called “freshly cooked fish” and a free drink with no refund. The second lot of fish was just as disgusting as the first lot.

Bought potato cakes and dim sims. Both well cooked. Potato cakes not huge but was given 3 but only paid for 2.  Dimmys had a good crunch to the outside of them.Food: 4/5

BEST CHARCOAL GRILLED LAMB. The juiciest and tastiest lamb I have tried in any charcoal shop. The owner is such a legend. Very hospitable and know his food very well. Must try once and you will get hooked on to it.

Best Souvlaki anywhere. Wouldn't get anywhere else.  Chips are good when not overcooked  NOT the yellow frozen one everyone has these days Owner is friendly.

I went to the fish and chip shop to buy some fish and chips for my disabled client as I have done the last three Wednesdays when I was verbally and physically assaulted by the owner and his  son. For some reason they thought I was someone else mistaken identity and I was threatened and pushed and told to never come back very disappointed.
