This was my first trip to NYC so I was obviously needing to try authentic NY pizza. I had actually went to Joes and ran across Encore on the way back to my hotel. I saw the margherita pizza in their window and it looked amazing, so I had to stop to have a piece, and it was honestly the best slice of pizza I have ever had. The crust was super thin but still had an excellent crunch, and the sauce was so damn flavorful. The pizza was so good I went back every day on my trip! Also the staff is very friendly, which is always a major plus.
The staff were friendly and attentive. They have a decent 2 cheese slice and beverage deal for $8. The cheese slices were crisp and had a buttery flavor. It wasn’t my favorite cheese slice, I like a saucier/saltier slice. The crust doesn’t have a ton of flavor. They have a bathroom which is a win.
Wandering around in mid-town, looking for a place to have a slice, and their window display tempted me in. I ordered one of the Marguerite slices and settled into the back. From the first flavorful bite, I could not believe how delicious they made my favorite slice! So, I ordered another piece and savored that one, too. I finally feel as if I've had my real "slice of NY," though I also had pizza at a much fancier place, which was also good and Encore will stay on my list for return trips - thanks, guys!
We’d been looking for some good pizza cause we heard NYC was the best place to get it and this place lived up to the hype. Would recommend the Grandmas Pizza and the Meat Lovers! Also the Garlic Knots were delicious! Also the guys were super helpful and friendly so all round amazing place!
we ordered four slices, which was about $18. service was brisk and friendly. pizza had a nice sharp crust and was just the right side of oily. a great fast monch if you’re wandering around midtown.
Pizza were better than papa John’s and papa John’s my favorite chain pizza place. The place is not that inviting, but it’s the only one open late at night. I asked for the 2-pizza combo, 2 orders, but the guy charged me for 3 orders. I guess maybe because the combo is just for cheese or margherita only, but he said I could pick any pizza; he didn’t say he’ll charge me extra though. I got the 3-meat and Hawaiian, 2 big slices each. Great dough which makes up for everything else I guess. Would have been a 4 if the place is a bit nicer or cleaner.
Pizza by the slice. Fast fresh and good! I got the meat lovers and the grandma and both were excellent. Its a well oiled machine so dont take too long when there's a line! They have seating in the back and a small bathroom. I dont know how much better Joes, a few blocks up is that its worth waiting on that line. Good crust, sause cheese and variety hit the spot and went right back on our way!
This pizza is AMAZING first time in NYC and I loved it! The owner is super cool and nice 100/10! Will definitely be back for the margarita pizza
Great new pizza place! The slice was crunchy and tasted great, you can taste the real cheese. Garlic knots were awesome too.
Great place to have the best pizza in NYC, everything was fresh, clean and delicious, very good service, but really the flavor !!!! Yummmmm!!! 10/10 very recommended
