Fiveways has the old school vibe with cheap beers that taste crisp, pokies that seem to always pay, generous delicious meals and to top it off they have new bar staff and they make you feel right at home! Oh and free pool! Meat trays and random raffles! Definitely a chilled place to have a good time without spending ya whole paycheck! SUNDAYS CHEAP DRINKS! CHEAP MEALS! Cheers Fiveways
Awesome place, everyone is nice, good little pub. Love the homemade rissole and the owner of the pub is a great bloke to have a yarn to. Definitely coming back
One of the welcoming pubs I've been to. Staff are super friendly.
Waited over an hour for a meal. Bar staff were helpful, but the kitchen staff was useless and slow.
My daughter and I went for lunch today. First time at this pub in several years. Food was delicious and very generous sized servings. Definately value for money. Staff were friendly and polite. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a good old fashioned pub meal in a quite peaceful setting.
Nice inside. Good atmosphere..but! I ordered the seafood basket which came out on a plate. Not well presented. And it was all frozen food. Cooked but out of a packet and overcooked. My other had the pork chop. It was dry. But the pepper gravy was nice. The service was poor.
A group of us went for lunch today and had a fabulous time. Food and service were excellent and very impressed with free raffle tickets and half a dozen wins for our group.
We had been to this particular hotel on one other occassion and had found the meals to be quite enjoyable and reasonably priced. So when we had family visiting we decided to take them there for tea. Big mistake! The chicken schnitzel I ordered as I had done on my previous visit was so thick it was unpleasant to eat. The person who had prepared it obviously couldn't be bothered to 'bash' it into a schnitzel thickness. It was lukewarm and slapped down in front of me with about 6 cold chips laying next to it. My Mother ordered the pork chops as she had done on our previous visit and enjoyed immensely only to have a HUGE and undercooked fore-quarter chop instead of the pork loin chops she was expecting put in front of her. It was also accompanied by a scattering of cold chips. My nephew and his wife ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and found it to be very ordinary and accompanied by the obligatory cold chips. It was very poor indeed and left us wondering how it could be so very different from our first visit there..?? We'll never set foot in the Five Ways Hotel again that's for sure!
Great, tasty, inexpensive meals. Wonderfully fresh salad bar with every meal. Fun atmosphere. Shame a can of coke costs $4 though. It's hardly a wine bar.
I've been going here for years and I'm always happy with the meals. The meals are cheap and the staff are usually nice. However my partner and I had and experience where the owner yelled at us across the room over a simple misunderstanding. How embarassing.
