Coffee has always been and still is great. I decided to eat in for a change, and that was a mistake. The menu items all sounded delicious. The food looks great. Nice staff. The reasons I'm giving 3 stars: 1. The food did not taste great, eggs were overcooked and poached eggs did not ooze at all. 2. The way the food is prepared is not hygienic, the lady preparing the food was handling it with bare hands while touching he face and nose. 3. Tables outside seemed nice, but were full, so we sat in and it wasn't great. 4. There was a bug in my food. Had high expectations because take away coffee is amazing and got disappointed. Will be coming back for coffee though

AMAZING food, coffee and staff. Couldn't possibly recommend them highly enough. They make you feel like family and are passionate about the food and drinks they create.

Great coffee. Food is ok. Menu needs some work. More vegetarian options please Some more study should go into what Fika means. When Swedes have fika it doesn't feel like this restaurant. As a cafe it had some great coffee, but Fika may be the wrong name. I'd still go back, but it feels a bit like it's still do finding its feet. Good service.

Lovely cafe in central Ballarat. Yummy egg and bacon rolls. Great location. Best of all, excellent coffee.
