Fiction is Brisbane's best kept waterfront secret. Located in the Raby Bay Harbour Marina only 35 minutes from the Brisbane CBD, Fiction is Cleveland's first gastrobar with a fantastic selection of fine wine, craft beer and cocktails to match.

Story

Fiction uses on the freshest and finest seasonal ingredients on its gastrobar menu. Our menu extends further than our dining room, as we also have a 140 guest function room which is the perfect space for us to host your corporate event, birthday, engagement or wedding. Our dedicated function team can act as your function planners, from "go" to "whoa". We will endeavour to fulfill every request and to guide you through your special day. We aim to make every event something to remember.

Attended an educational dinner meeting at Fiction Restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent—my entree was crispy and the main carefully prepared, and full of flavor. Every bite was satisfying. The waterfront setting added to the ambiance, making it a great spot for both casual and special occasions. Service was good, and the overall experience was enjoyable. Definitely a great place to dine at Raby Bay Harbour!

My fiancee and I recently had our Engagement party at Fiction Bar. Can not recommend this place enough!! The atmosphere alone is beautiful in such a nice location by the water. The food and service was outstanding. Elyse and Nathan were fantastic to deal with and so easy going with all of our requests. Highly recommend Fiction Bar for any future events!

We walked into the restaurant and looked for someone to assist us, but no one did. We then grabbed the menu, decided what we wanted to eat, and tried to call a waiter to place our order, but again, no one came. They saw us get up from the table to leave, and no one said anything. I went over to the waitress on duty and asked if they weren’t serving customers that day. She replied that we hadn’t been attended to because we entered through the left side of the restaurant instead of the right side. We couldn’t eat there. Frustrated and indignant, we went next door to “Mamma Mia,” where we received excellent service.

Had a very nice lunch special here. Beef Hor Fun. No table service outside. Beer was $15. I'd go back again. I think things could be better with more staff and more customer interaction. No one came to ask if I enjoyed my food. I did but it's good to be asked
