Fiction is Brisbane's best kept waterfront secret. Located in the Raby Bay Harbour Marina only 35 minutes from the Brisbane CBD, Fiction is Cleveland's first gastrobar with a fantastic selection of fine wine, craft beer and cocktails to match.

Story

Fiction uses on the freshest and finest seasonal ingredients on its gastrobar menu. Our menu extends further than our dining room, as we also have a 140 guest function room which is the perfect space for us to host your corporate event, birthday, engagement or wedding. Our dedicated function team can act as your function planners, from "go" to "whoa". We will endeavour to fulfill every request and to guide you through your special day. We aim to make every event something to remember.

Nice place. You can book a table before you go there. Everyone is friendly . Good coffee, good calamari... reasonable price.

Mark and his team are so on target at Fiction Bar. The food, drinks and service is perfectly delivered on time and with such attention to detail.Pricing is very reasonable with the meals having very generous portions.nWe have been coming for years and have never had a bad experience yet.nThe atmosphere is wonderful with gorgeous views overlooking the beautiful cove.nRecommend Fiction Bar for any event and try and get there early to see the sunsetting as it is spectacular.

If 5 Stars is the best then that was a 6 Star experience. The staff were genuinely enthusiastic about making us feel welcome. With a table of 10 the food arrived in good time and was outstanding. My steak was cooked to perfection and all other meals looked very enticing. A few cocktails before leaving topped off a truly top shelf experience. Thank you to all involved. I can not recommend this experience enough! ******

Went there for a quick catch up with a friend, the staff are lovely and the location is great. We got a 3 choice mixed entrees platter for $50 and the calamari and chicken were pretty greasy I know it’s fried but this was KFC greasy and the prawn spring roll was pretty bland. I’d love to have some fennel or coriander in it to liven it up. I’ll definitely go back, just won’t order that again.

Yummy food, well priced, great location, My hubby and I went here on almost all our date night  never had a complain, always perfect, highest compliment for the chef too, well done on the Indonesian dishes
