We stayed in some lovely homely rooms over looking the garden. Birds were singing all day long. Was the perfect getaway. Very relaxing. We went to some local wineries and came back to a beautiful spa. Pam was a welcoming and friendly host. Thanks for the lovely stay! Will definitely be back again.
The bed was so comfortable. We loved the bathroom. Wished we could have extended our stay there to enjoy the spa bath. Pam was so lovely. My partner still had to work during our travel and Pam tried her best to support us. We will definitely stay at Faulty Towers again for our future trips Thanks Pam From Jules & Ash
We loved our stay in the delightful cottage, which was nestled within the surrounding garden. The cottage was clean, comfortable and filled with charm. We stayed one night and had access to everything we needed. The hostess was welcoming and hospitable, which made us feel comfortable during our stay. Breakfast was exceptional the next morning. Highly recommend the stay.
It was such a great experience! We loved the super super cosy vintage environment! This felt like being back home!!.Thanks Pam for being an exceptional host! Went out of her way to come meet us when we got lost. The rooms, the spa,the breakfast.....it was an absolute value for money!There was Kenyan coffee too! We are so coming back Pam!!!
Our hostess is absolutely lovely. The accommodation is inviting and spacious. The atmosphere both indoors and out is tranquil and relaxing. I generally have issues sleeping, not here, could not believe I awake just before 8 am, having slept uninterrupted all night.
Excellent place to just unwind and relax. This place was a super last minute booking and the owner Pam was great about it. Everything was set and ready to go once arrived. Pam had all lights in the room on waiting for us. we arrived 9:30ish The room we wanted had a massive spa bath that was just EVERYTHING. The room itself had a real homely feeling to it witch is really hard to find. The bed was super comfy it was LITTERLY like a cloud, I felt like I could sleep for a thousand years. Living in Geelong CBD myself, staying at faulty towers really felt like being in the high country even though it's only 20 mins away. I loved how It was off the highway far enough back to not hear any of the cars passing by or even see them. It was so great to just spend a night away enjoying life's little things. We unfortunately didn't have any wifi at the property, only minimal reception on the window sill that we thought would be a let down. HOWEVER it was actually the opposite, being in our late 20's you can imagine what our generation is like. I actually thought it was great to just watch some DVDs in bed and relax and have minimal communication with social media. Pam was super friendly greeting us on arrival and definitely a great host to have for anyone who visits. I don't understand some of the reviews left for this palace as they definitely are the opposite to what we experienced. I will 100% recommend to all my friends and family. When life gets a bit hectic next I will hands down be booking a night away to relax. 5/5
It was a gorgeous, vintage decor suite with a huge bed and a relaxing spa. Pam welcomed us with a freshly baked cake and some tips on where to go during our short stay. It is worth being aware that this suite is attached to someone's home, so there are some rules which we were fine with. And Pam is not the housekeeper, so we cleaned up after ourselves over the few days we were there. I'm sure if we had any issues, Pam would oblige us some fresh towels or clean dishes. The location is quiet and peaceful, and perfectly central to the Bellarine Peninsula area. We loved it, and would be pleased to stay again!
Absolutely loved this place, so peaceful and relaxing. We totally switched off from our phones and TV just happy to enjoy the space and serenity. The spa was amazing too, and Pam was very welcoming and warm that we felt very comfortable.
The accommodation and gardens surrounding it are absolutely beautiful, something from a fairytale. Not only was the addition of a delicious breakfast a delight but so was the host, who was very accommodating and kind. Stayed for a long weekend so the addition of WiFi would have been a perk but for those not minding being offline for a few days this is the ideal spot for some serenity.
OMG, what a superb find Faulty Towers is. In business I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels and b&bs . Faulty Towers is up amongst the best . Pam is a great host , the breakfast was superb and catered for my dietary requirements with no prior notice. The room , the spa, the bed, the decor all first class . Don’t be put off by the current roadworks, this place is worth the effort.
