Story

Farrier is Brisbane all grown up. The only late night Whisk(e)y bar & supper club open from 12pm to 2am, Farrier is Brisbane’s answer when you want somewhere to go after hours. Catering to Brisbane’s night owls, discerning foodies and those who appreciate a well-executed bar, Farrier means you’re old enough to stay up late and there’s always somewhere to go after midnight.

Farrier means stylish, yet comfortable and never pretentious. It’s where you can get a drink, from top shelf spirits to craft beer and importantly, something delicious anytime from the middle of the day to when everyone else is tucked up counting Z’s.

Music is so loud, CrowdDJ isn't running half the time, food can be strange. Not very spacious, and the couches go missing often. Overall not an actually bad bar, but there's nothing to compel you to come here instead of anywhere else

This place has a lot of potential. They need to take all the couches to the tip though. 2 are completely destroyed, and the other reeks of mould, which is a health hazard. If they had new, vinyl couches, and more chairs with backs in them (because only 20yo's want stools), dimmed the lighting slightly, and played either lounge, jazz, or blues music, this place would be perfect. It's nice to be able to go there and pick your own music on the jukebox machine, but it was very limited, and you had to sit through everyone else's boring songs before you heard something decent. If these issues were fixed, the place would be 5 stars, as its atmosphere is great, and the bar tender was great. Haven't tried the food yet.

Far(rier) out this bar throws you back a few centuries.. nice little joint mellowed-out with a playlist of hiphop class, charred instrumentals and rap classics.

Great drinks and cocktails, and tasty food 'til late. Great music and generally cool digs.
