Experience was good. Until I found one of the item having issue while assembling. Reported instantly on official site with no response. Then I called the branch and send them e-mail to store as per their instruction. Waited for another few days. Called the branch again. Turn out store manager claimed that the credit department claimed that's my human error on such damage. I'm sure that I was installing accurately as per installation manual. Finally the store manager willing to replace the damaged part.
Really not impressed with our latest purchase, a recliner package worth $1300 & being only a few weeks old we have already made contact due to the quality of it only to be told its "normal" and would fall under "change of mind" instead of under warranty which mind you, we paid extra for. If we wanted to throw $1300 down the drain we could have used the drains in our street gutters! We paid money for a lounge and was promised over and over that it was great quality, and if anything happened we would be covered because we paid the extra warranty. The male we spoke to numerous times at the corio store before it was delivered assured me it would be fine as I was wanting some sort of protective cover. Now, im being told by a female who actually came to my home to inspect the couch that a extreme pile build up, loose threads, sagging recliners and no support in the recliner legs is considered normal wear and tear in just a space of 4 weeks. The brand new couch looks 10 years old and I am not happy. We should have learnt the first time we made a purchase at FF but from now on, never again. Such a disappointment, especially for families like ours that don't have big $$$$ to throw at decent furniture stores, the ones we can afford always seem to let us down. Not a fantastic experience at all.
This is for the Fantastic Furniture Corio Geelong. We were not happy with the customer service and their own version of return / exchange policies. It is clearly stated in the invoice that an item can be returned in a resalable condition very subjective. The item we want to have exchange is in fact in resalable condition, good as new. They shut me down on the phone with a barrage of reasoning based on their own arguments about an item's condition.
Always enjoy Fantastic Furniture stores. They have good prices. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only annoying thing is having to put stuff together.
Guys, can you believe that this was my first ever time at Fantastic Furniture? Honestly I liked alot of the furniture and was pleased to see that some things were actually made in Australia. Staff seemed very thin on the floor, but the guy at the desk was friendly enough. They had a kids movie going to entertain little ones. It's not high end stuff but worth a look. Especially if you are going to this 'home maker' area where there are 4 other furniture places.
Some stuff is good and the price is great. Some stuff is really cheap and tacky though. You get what you pay for
If i could rate less than 1 star I would have, unfortunately because I cannot I have to go with 1 star. I placed an order for couple of beds and mattresses 3 months back, and I was very clear that I want to order them all together from one place to avoid chasing up multiple stores. I was told the queen beds are in stock but the bunk beds are coming soon3-5 weeks. Queen beds and mattresses were delivered after a bit of back and forth and horrible delivery experience. However there is no sight of bunks even after 12 weeks now. Everything has been paid in full!! Like many others mentioned in their reviews, they got the whole bulk order for 5 bedrooms promising to deliver all products, but it was just their sales tactic. Once the sale is done, the experience has been an absolute nightmare. We spent Christmas and new years with no beds in two rooms!! Every single time I called them for an update, I have been left to feel miserable. They don't want to take any responsibility for the order delivery or the delays. One lady I believe is the store manager even said that we are just a store to take orders we cant do anything about delivery!! I was left with no words to this!! After keeping the money for 13 weeks, and changing the delivery times over and over again, their response has been "you can cancel it and we will refund you"!! Seriously pathetic. This is the first time I placed a large order from this store, I regret it the most. I have bought many things from different stores during COVID, there have been delays, but nowhere have we had this horrible customer experience. I wish I did not place my order with them, now I am just stuck!! I hope someone from the company is listening to the plights of their customers.
Worst service I’ve ever received. We ordered a bed set in December approximate delivery of 2-3 weeks. Fast forward, we have been delayed & delayed and eventually told it will not arrive until April. Fantastic Furniture Geelong offered NO solution to this problem, constantly blamed covid, however this was an ongoing issue for months and months and they made no effort to redeploy workers, hire extra staff, or do anything to get their product moving. I understand delays but management is useless for not attempting to even fix the issue, but rather just telling people it was “too bad and you’ll Haveto wait”. Male staff over the phone were rude and uncaring of the situation. We cancelled the order and ended up ringing Melbourne - who had a bed in stock! Thanks for letting us know Geelong - we know you can access the system to see if other stores have product in stock but you chose not to. We ended up driving 4 hours to albury and they were fantastic. TERRIBLE SERVICE GEELONG.
We received friendly service and were helped by the staff with everything we needed.
Very helpful staff and great prices especially when having a sale. A lot of Australian built furniture
