The Evelyn is an amazing place for a beer on a Friday night. Indoor and outdoor seating. Bartenders are incredibly friendly giving discount for long waiting periods. Small bottle shop stretched. Would highly recommend for a night out with friends
Saw one of my favorite bands here and love the place. When the gig was over, the staff literally moved the walls around. Great venue.
Great place to drink, there’s one guy that was super rude and shouldn’t be in customer service the tall,skinny with curly haired guy would have been five star but he brought it down. He doesn’t know how to talk to his customers with respect. If you drink here avoid him as he will probably make you feel like you’re not a customer. Honestly sack him.
I just went there friday 12:15 am with 3 more girlfriends looking for some friends inside and the guard grabbed us by the arm, kicking us out saying it was closed when it was clearly open and our friends were drinking inside.The guard was very rude he used bad words and showed us the finger We were all sober and just asked him not touch us. We had never been so disrespected by a guard with no reason in such an aggressive way. To all the women going there be careful with the guy in the pictures.
Great spot, lovely staff, a few good areas to hang out. Great live gig area. Top notch
A classic old fashioned club with a nice flavour for live music. They've got a cocktail bar near the live music section. It doesn't seem to be much in the way of meals there. So try at one the other eateries on the street. There's plenty to choose from.
The bar service in the music venue was great, but the place was extremely hot maybe because there was a heatwave of 37 celcius earlier in the day. Anyway, I still think they should at least have fans for hot days like today.
Great spot to catch some live music. The Evelyn is one of those venues in Melbourne that everyone's been to once, and everyone should go to at least once. The band room is a bit different after the renovations no more couches, but fits a lot more bodies now. Decent range of beers on tap, too. The Evelyn house beer is good for the price.
Came for $5 schooners during happy hour. Super cool and vibey place. They have a pool table, outdoor seating, frozen cocktails and even had the simpsons playing on projector
It's a 5, the Evelyn draught is a delight. It a beer drinker's beer, made to be drank, thank you. Bar staff are excellent . Great boutique out door set up..
