Europcar MAROOCHYDORE AIRPORT

Not recommended to use this depot if it can be avoided as it's not possible to call them. All calls are routed to an unhelpful overseas call centre. I recommend using the Europcar MAROOCHYDORE SOUTH - WARANA depot as they have a direct number and you can speak with a real human.

My booking was for an automatic with a child safety seat. Got a manual with the wrong seat installed and took forever to solve. Not what you want after a long flight with a sleepy child. Last time I used them they tried to add on an extra day on the price, claiming I returned the car too late. However, the time they claimed I returned the car was 2 hours after my flight left the airport. After a lot of correspondence and me having to prove that I returned the car on time (an hour before actually), I got a reluctant reimbursement. Done with europcar.

Don't use Europcar. Hurt my back so can't drive. Agency closed during the day. Support want my wife to taxi over an hour to sign a document to allow her to drive. Thanks for nothing Europcar.

Worse experience ever! Staff slow, lazy and extremely rude. I picked up the car at the gold coast airport and the staff members looked annoyed of giving me more information about the car insurance. Also the car was disgusting! They didn't even clean it. I was told that the car was in good condition but it was full of sketches and bumps. I have never had problems with other car rental companies. I don't recommend Europcar.
