Booked rental via ringing East Coast Rentals helped me with selection of plan & car to suit my needs. Helped get me a good deal - East Coast Rentals near Maroochydore airport was extremely easy to find. Team there were polite & thorough. Very efficient service was quick. Upon return team were lovely, got a curiosity drop off for my flight.nThe whole process was made easy by knowledgeable teamnThank you I will hire from you guys again when back in the neighbourhood

Decent car at good price, however I’ve experienced the worst customer service from one particular man. He pretended to be a pleasant guy until I refused to take the in-home insurance. Then, he became very rude and started treating us really badly. He pressured us a lot to take the offer. But, we didn’t. He kept threatening us by saying “any dent, you pay $4400” maybe 10 times in a really annoying manner. I knew the risk and I already took that deal. You don’t have to keep repeating it, and scaring your customers. He kept the similar manner on the return. He looked very keen to find something, so we would pay the excess.nI am giving one star just because of that staff member, otherwise we were happy with the car.

Customer service upon pick up was great, cars are spotless. Rates are far better than big name companies. I’ve used this service in Melbourne and the Sunshine Coast. Excellent in both locations. Plus, we had a tough situation and had to drop the car off at an alternative location - Anthony, the Sunshine Coast branch manager, was very helpful and considerate. We will definitely book again, and I’m recommending this to friends who travel.

I’d definitely rent again through East Coast Car Rentals. A near-new vehicle and terrific service.nnNext time, however, I’d book direct and not via booking.com where payments are processed in Great Britain thus incurring international transaction fees for bookings made in Australia for vehicles to be collected in Australia. Yes this is nothing to do with East Coast Car Rentals, but they did mention they’d prefer people to book directly with them, so worth mentioning.nnAnother thing to note is if you take out insurance via booking.com, a deposit for $1,000.00 needs to be taken from you when the vehicle is collected and even minor damage is subject to a $5,500.00 excess which then needs to be  chased up from the third party insurance. It’s much easier to book and insure directly with East Coast Car Rentals.

Well-priced. Very easy to deal with. Smooth handover of the rental car and all the staff that we met in Sunshine coast airport branch are very respectful and professional on their roles. 10/10 can recommend.
