Dr Morse Bar & Eatery

Dr Morse is a great place for a beer; the venue is excellent, but if you're looking for a hearty breakfast probably best to keep on walking. The coffee is excellent, but the 'Asian-inspired everything' doesn't work well with the western dishes. Dinner wise, expect overly seasoned dishes that are inedible.

Usually quite reliable, & they accept dogs in the beer garden area. This time, on Boxing Day, terrible. Bacon as an extra - $6. One piece burnt & rind on, second piece undercooked. Yes, two pieces, short cut, $6. Toast not buttered, had to ask for it to be delivered. Staff disengaged & uninterested - way too cool for this school! 10% public holiday surcharge should equal staff actually awake. Coffees cooler than luke-warm. Whatever happened to checking the temperature? You are actually selling the coffee, not giving it away.

Mixed feelings about this venue. Great place for a drink. Food is pretty ordinary for what you're paying. Recommended the gunpowder chicken.

Best Asian fusion I've had in a long time. Great vibe, good service (sparkling water served straight away). Delicious FRESH do, very ethical food too and vegan friendly. Love it

Lovely service, great atmosphere and relaxing music in beer garden. Staff very helpful and accommodating to my little family. We had a great afternoon.
