Such a lovely place to visit with friends and family. The bar is quite spacious and nicely decorated i must say. I just wish it was air conditioned though because after some time the place was too hot. Food can be ordered via QR code but not the same system for drinks, I wonder why?nnIn terms of food, I'll start by saying that it is costly, pretty standard aussie flavours and the portions felt a little meh to me. There were couple of events happening and I was there for a birthday lunch myself. The staff were nice and overall a lovely spot for weekend chill.
Had the Xmas team lunch here, it was hot Melbourne weather last Thursday 38degrees. Beers were good as usual favourite is Gipps St pale ale.nLunch special meals, pizzas were so good. Definitely try the chicken and eggplant parma on the menu...nnOnly feedback please have drinks menu offered online too through the QR code to place orders. As for every drinks order had to line up in such weather.
I went for dinner with friends and all our pups! and had such a lovely time that I went back a few days later for lunch. The mushroom sandwich with Swiss cheese, rocket, truffle aioli, and shoestring fries was delicious!nThe staff were so lovely and accommodating, even though it was quite busy. It’s a fantastic dog-friendly spot, but if you have pets or are sensitive to noise, it’s best to be seated away from the kids’ cubby area.
Great brewery with an excellent tap range including taster paddles as well as delicious food. I tried the six beer taster alongside a wood fired pizza, a lovely dinner stop. The place had a great atmosphere with lots of people including many locals. If you like craft beer look no further!
We had our daughter's first birthday party at Stomping Ground recently and had such a blast! We chose it because of the delightful beer garden area which has a cubby house for the kids. But the food and service were impeccable as well. We ordered pizzas, garlic bread, charcuterie boards, and salads for everyone which were all super tasty, particularly the garlic bread and sausage pizza! And the staff were super helpful came cake time, providing serving plates, knife, lighter, etc.nnOverall would definitely recommend for a small kids party we had around 18 people in total including kids or a get together!
