Lovely people, good coffee, amazzzzing wine and cheese at a totally affordable price. The small meals are also delicious.

A Haven away from a slightly mad world.. Talk wine, Talk Coffee, sit and chat in a lovely environment with two wonderfully informed, polite and charming individuals in David & Tim. Great selection of Wines from all over the world and some excellent events including Share the Rare, Wine Tastings and Intimate Tuesdays... just leave a seat at the table for me when I get back from holiday.

I liked the vibe and ambiance of the place, been looking for a wine bar for a while and this seemed to fit the bill. However, the food was average and the selection of wines by the glass is very limited. When we asked for dessert wine, they advised it would need to be 2 glasses. I only wanted 1 glass, so I offered to buy the bottle. That way I could have my glass and it would not affect Comptoir. Instead of allowing me to do so, they advised I had to pay the corkage fee. I find that ridiculous as a corkage fee is usually charged when bringing in outside beverages. I was buying a bottle from them, why do they get to charge me for the bottle and also a corkage fee. It is really disappointing since we were quite excited at the start, but with this kind of service and fees I will not be returning again. It is a shame since we live across the street. I think Tim needs to reevaluate how he does business.

Modern wine bar with a very interesting variety and great selection of wines by the glass.
