We had a fabulous time there last night for a Birthday Dinner. They had a very well thought out beer and cocktail list, and the staff were attentive and friendly.
The food was interesting and well presented with good unique flavours.

I used to love the place and had been there multiple times over the years. I have a friend visiting me and I picked this place to treat her. The service is good and food is 3.5/5. However when we asked for takeaway of leftover food (big portion left since my friend didn't eat much), i was told that no takeaway is allowed and the only reason given is "company policy". I eat out a lot in different types of restaurants in Melbourne and Sydney and have never heard of such "policy". The manager can not even give a reason other than the policy line... She was actually rude showing from her body language and face expression when I asked why... The waitress actually did so much better job to try to explain then the manager. I was UTERLY disappointed with this place and certainly will not go back again. And if you go and dine there, please be aware of this so called "policy".

The service is always good here, $1 oysters is what I always come for. The wine here is a tad on the expensive side though. Yes of course I know the normal mark up of wine, however it seems like they've taken it up a notch. Everything is 1.5x what I would expect to see.

I wish they offered BYO.

Food on the other hand has fabulous presentation with taste to match.

Popped in for a drink on Saturday night. Served by a female bar person. When it came to pay I requested and gestured that she make an eftpos payment (insert card). I do not like tap as it forms a credit bill for discretionary spending, which i don't want. When she went to tap I again requested her not to make payment this way. It was obvious she couldn't be bothered and went ahead and tapped. The ignorance of this bar person astounded me. I said to her in a way of annoyance could you please just listen. She took umbrage at my response and started abusing me for being rude. I ignored her and walked off to my seat with my wife. 
Immediately the bar person came from behind the bar and continued a tirade of abuse, of which I ignored.  Can i say 
Great customer service, ha ha. Obviously this employee has an inflated opinion of herself and her role. Management you need to upskill your staff in service!
