PABU is not just a restaurant or a bar: PABU is a place where eating and drinking takes equal parts. But it is more than this: it is a meeting place, somewhere to bond and forget the worries of the day.

Pabu is the destination izakaya for Japanophiles: those Japan-obsessed people who want to get inside the izakaya culture and experience it in an immersive way.

Had an Absolutely Sensational dinner here the other week. Everything was fantastic here! The ambience, the food, cocktails and service was impeccable & exceptional, which made it so so very memorable. Every course had a well thought out craftsmanship that takes your taste buds from ground level to the to the moon at the speed of sound. Love the atmosphere too. absolute gem! Just do it.  Make a booking.  Make a night of it.

I couldn't recommend these guys enough.  I had a group of people there last week for my girlfriend's birthday.  Although I had to change the number of attendees a number of times and I forgot to tell them about the dietary requirements of two of the 15 people, they dealt with it all with ease.  We had one of the waiters in our room at the end for the entire duration almost, the manager came through, as did the assistant manager (I think that's his position).  
The food was absolutely excellent, the quantity was plentiful and the pricing very much value for money. I honestly couldn't have been happier with their service as a whole.
What's more is that I've been here a couple of times each year for the past 3 years, and the food quality and service never seems to drop.  
My tip for food is the Tataki Beef.  After trying this at Pabu the first time I came, I tried it everywhere I went.  It may sound over the top, but I actually haven't had it better anywhere, including Nobu and even Japan!

Unexpected great.  Never liked the look of this place. But decided to try it.  Welcoming staff, great drinks and the food was fantastic. Every thing we ate was amazing.
