Dr Lukes child clinic is based at 478 Grimshaw Street, Bundoora and offers a complete paediatric service for babies and young children including immunisations, allergy testing, developmental and behavioral assessments and much much more. Everything you need to keep your child happy and healthy. Dr Luke is a paediatrician who has practiced in melbourne for more than 15 years and has attended the delivery of well over 3500 babies. He has capped off his medical training with a Doctorate of Medicine that investigated paediatric acute bronchiolitis, a children's chest disease. His doctorate, and other research work, has been widely published. Dr Sammartino is married with four children.

We had an absolutely incredible experience morning with Dr Luke.  He was calm, warm, compassionate and understanding of all our needs and concerns. We left feeling reassured and happy.  On top of this, the receptionist staff were also incredibly lovely, friendly and welcoming to us and our baby girl.  We will recommend his services to all of our family and friends.  Thank you again

I would highly recommend Dr. Luke. I have been seeing him for my autistic son Anhad for 5 years now and his recommended medicines changed our lives forever. My son's being sleeping well and is not constipated. We can't thank him enough throughout our life, he's a God sent, thank you Dr. Luke and his team Andrea and Maddy. We will keep coming as we trust him  completely.

Dr Luke was present for the birth of both my children and has been our pediatrician of choice ever since, though luckily not required too often. Today I took my youngest, now 9 for a consultation and was shocked to see a negative review calling him unprofessional. He is one of the most caring Dr.’s I have had the good fortune to visit, so I was compelled to write this review in his favor. He should be your first choice, if you can get an appointment.

I highly recommend Dr Luke as he is an amazing person in general. I disagree with all the negativity that ppl have written about him and the practice. I have two healthy children thanks to Dr Luke and for ppl who don’t give him a go and let him do what he needs to, and expects an answer straight away come on not even God can do that.. I have had a sick child who ended up at royal childrens hospital day 2 of birth and they did an amazing job but I was highly recommended to see Dr Luke and I ran.. He had gone out of his way and way beyond to help with my baby. Thanks to Dr Luke and his amazing staff my daughter is now 3 years of age and with problem solved.. Thanks Dr Luke once again for everything u have done for my kids and I’m sure u know we will be behind you all the way. Love ya work and keep up the hard work

Had a great experience with Dr Luke recently for my 10 month old. Even for an appointment late in the day I didn’t felt rushed, and really felt the doctor genuinely cared for my daughter as a new patient. He listened and was very empathetic to my concerns and I felt like we were in great hands. His reception staff especially Andrea were very kind and my daughter loved interacting with them on departure. Thanks again for a great first visit.

Dr Luke Is one of few doctors who worked through Covid to service our kids. He could have chosen not too. He’s a captain that goes down with the ship given a choice. Dr Luke wears his heart on his sleeve. The passion You will see in the man. He has a tough job as do reception aka busy and to the point. Dr Luke should be sainted. Dr Luke has helped me as a parent also. Dr Luke is very knowledgeable and and smart on how he deals with my son and I. More power to you Dr Luke.

Dr Luke has been wonderfully caring and supportive of our children & family over the past few challenging years. Couldn’t speak more highly of both he and his team. They always make our children feel welcome.

This Doctor is totally amazing. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and overall an amazing experience.

Dr Sammartino is a absolute God send. My daughter had been suffering for yrs which was getting brushed off by GPS. Luke was so kind and gentle with her , running all the appropriate tests to diagnose her. He always goes above and beyond to assist us with anything we need. His staff are also very caring and helpful and so welcoming every time we go there. Luke is compassionate,  caring and goes to great lengths to help us. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a experienced paediatrician.  Thank you so much Luke and staff. Our girl is always in great hands with you !!!!!
