I put my pedigree cat in to board for 3 days. He was only fed his wet food on the first day. Because he did not eat obviously because he was settling in he was not fed wet food again for the next 2 days. His food was provided and labelled. His dry food was given in a small amount only, so when he came home he was very hungry, indeed. I was given his pouches food when I collected him. Staff would not answer my phone call, when I requested information and to speak to the Manager. I emailed as well, and have had no response, except to say that I was rude to staff. I was not rude, just upset, stating that I would never bring my cat there again. I rang the RSPCA and they agreed my cat should have have been fed his wet food the following days. Beware.
What lovely people. My old lab. retreiver thoroughly enjoyed the other dogs' company. So nice to see him smiling when we went to get him. Thank you all so much. See you all soon.
First time I boarded my cat here there were no issues on his end, he seemed quite happy and the staff were good. I then went away for 6 weeks and boarded him again. I visited my cat 4 weeks into his stay and saw he was missing fur. It took them a week to book a vet appointment and they didn't keep me updated on the vet appointment. It takes 2 weeks for ringworm to develop and he developed signs 4 weeks into his stay. The manager told me that since he had ringworm before 2 years ago! that I treated and eradicated that it was pre existing and that I was to pay for the vet bills. I insisted on my boy seeing a vet because its a very serious illness and can make old and young animals very sick. I didn't want any other pets to catch it. My cat caught an infectious disease at their facility and 3 weeks later I am still treating it. I asked for 1 vet bill to be reimbursed $219 and now nearly 2 weeks later have not received any response to my follow up emails and vet documentation. I have since paid nearly $600 in vet bills on top of the $894 it cost me to board him. The manager didn't know what ringworm was, commenting that it was a stupid name for something that isnt even a worm. You may pay cheap fees but if anything goes wrong they refuse to take any responsibility. The cat cages are the smallest I've seen, barely enough space for a litterbox and bed. I'd strongly suggest going elsewhere.
Staff were friendly and were good with my dogs which made me feel at ease leaving them there. They seemed happy when I picked them up, they had been running around and were absolutely filthy. I can get over them being so dirty as they were having fun, but one of my dogs had a burst abscess which was easy to see and should have been seen by a vet while they were boarding. Because of this I wouldn't leave them there again, which is unfortunate as we are often in the area.
Good service, responsive and helpful. Only thing that was disappointing was the dogs were really dirty and hadn’t been washed when we picked them up. We thought a was was included for pick up.
Brilliant service, staff so friendly and good with the animals, even aggressive dogs like mine. Have used these guys for years and will continue to do so.
Had my dog Atlas stay with these guys for 3 weeks whilst we were back in the UK. Gave them tablets to give Atlas during his stay and the lady wrote these down. Messaged half way through trip to ask how he was and I was happy with this. However when Atlas was dropped off to us we asked if he had his tablets, the lady who delivered him said he had one but he didn’t have the other and said ‘I don’t know why he didn’t have that one’. First red flag. However when we were inside and unpacking his things we noticed that from the tablets they said they didn’t give him it was a pack of 6 unopened there was only 4!! So 2 had mysteriously disappeared… We also noted a scab on the underside of his belly that wasn’t there prior to his stay. I messaged the team politely asking about the missing tablets and this scab and whether he had sustained any injuries. I received no response. I emailed a further 2 times to chase up and again NOTHING. My husband sent them a message of Instagram stating that we received no response and could someone get back to us ASAP. They said they would, still heard nothing. We sent 4 messages from March 27th to April 4th and all we got was radio silence. I would 10000% never recommend this place to anyone. I think they post pictures to make it seem like an amazing place but in actual facts animals sustain injuries/cuts/scabs/abscesses and their medication disappears or is double dosed/given to other animals who knows! They have decided that if they ignore the issue it’ll go away! 1* isn’t low enough!
Dolittles staff and facilities were brilliant for my girls Bella and Scarlett. They took care of them when I couldn't. I can't thank them enough.
My cat seemed happy and healthy on collection. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would have my cat stay there again
