Ipswich Nature Centre

Located at Queens Park, it is a great place to take the kids for a few hours. There is a playground equipped with swings and slides for the children. Public toilets and plenty of room to run about, kick a footy or a game of rounders. Its a great place for a picnic!

Especially good if you have little kids. Free chance to look at animals in their own habitats. This is just one of the things that queen's Park has to offer so very easy to spend the whole day for minimal cost, or for absolutely no cost at all.

We started the day with breakfast at Queens Cafe which was great then proceeded I to the nature park. Plenty of animals to see. My favourite was the aviary where you can have a good look at the birds.

Awesome place where you can enter for free or for a donation. My favourite part is the walk in aviary, there are birds everywhere. Great also for experienced or budding photographers alike. Japanese Gardens and Queens Park are on either side. Plenty of places for a picnic too.

Great location for the hole family. For a gold coin donation you can see a lot of beautiful things. You can easy spend there 2 hours and it's not boring. my favourite was the big bird cage. I would definitely come back.
