I have always found Janie and staff to be very friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. Thanks to Janie she recommended a second opinion regarding my daughter's foot pain, while fitting her for new dance shoes. We later learned my daughter actually had a broken bone, needing treatment & rest! Big thanks
A hidden gem of a shop. Welcoming and full of advice and tips to support transition into my daughter's second pair of pointe shoes. Great first hand tips and information about how to sew ribbons and elastics to personalise the fit rather than standardised placement. Thank you for your time.
The staff at Ditto Dancewear are always friendly and knowledgeable. We have shopped online and in store, however a visit to the store is recommended for correct dance shoe fittings sizes can be tricky!. Thank you for your efficient customer service and see you again soon for more dance gear :-
I unfortunately didn't experience good customer service at Ditto Dancewear. Janie's manner was abrupt and condescending rather than informative and helpful. She told me my daughter 'would never be Dame Margot Fonteyn' due to her pronated ankles, which she 'diagnosed' herself and bluntly told me in front of a shop full of customers. My daughter is 6. I came for dance shoes, not a prediction of my daughter's likelihood of becoming a prima ballerina. I will be taking my daughter to a podiatrist to have her ankles checked as I actually value this input, it was the manner in which this was delivered and the offhand comment that was most disappointing.
We have been using Ditto Dancewear for years to create my daughter's custom solo dance costumes. Janie and her team use their extensive knowledge of fabrics and design to create well fitting custom designs. They only use the best fabrics sourced here in Australia. We are back for our 2022 costumes.
Janie and the team at Ditto Dancewear are fantastic. They have been helping my daughter with her Aerobics needs for many years. They go out of there way to make sure our needs are met and that we are always happy. Nothing is too hard for them. Their custom made designs are amazing too and they take the time to make sure we get what we want. They go above and beyond. I would highly recommend them.
Ditto Dancewear has excellent customer service and provides top of the line product in quality and durability. I would recommend ditto dancewear to absolute everybody.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! JANIE GRANT the OWNER of DITTO DANCEWEAR is RUNNING A SWEAT SHOP! I did some sewing for her in OCTOBER 2021 and I'm STILL CHASING HER UP FOR PAYMENT. She UNDERPAYS and uses CHEAP QUALITY FABRIC that's flimsy so she asked me to SEW THEM INSIDE OUT because of the UGLY SHINE!!!
Had some great work shirts embroidered at Ditto Dancewear. Janie quickly sourced the right garments for me and quickly had the finished product ready for pick up. Was very impressed with the final result and will be returning
Amazing service and amazing staff highly recommend this shop
