We had a lovely stay at the Distinction Dunedin hotel recently. The staff were professional and well presented.nnThey were helpful and friendly. The restaurant staff were attentive and especially kind to the young girls in our group and made them feel very special.nnI was appreciative of their assistance with a dietary requirement, which is never an easy ask.nnThe staff were outstanding in their assistance with the return of a much-loved toy after our departure. Their attention to detail was very touching.nnBased on our experience I would highly recommend this hotel.
Lovely room, showers have great pressure and rainfall showers, there was an issue with our room and they sorted it with ease! Comfortable beds, very clean. The parking was ample, but very expensive, $30 for a night. On site resturant was expensive but the buffet breakfast was 10/10
A lovely central relaxed place to stay.nThe staff are responsive and helpful.nLittle thing like no USB charge points in the room mean it will need a rfresh in the not too distant future.
Very good hotel in centre of town. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the high tea, arranged at short notice as we hadn't booked the normal 24hrs earlier.nGood size rooms as old Post Office renovated to 5 star hotel. High ceilings, very good noise insulation and well designed.nUsual hotel buffet breakfast but very nicely done.nVery nice toiletries supplied in very large bathroom.nNot cheap but easily worth the cost.
Has to be one of the best hotels in the Sth Island if not the best. The rooms are great, with very comfortable beds, beaut bathrooms and there's a laundry in all the rooms. The staff at reception are very efficient and welcoming. The staff in the dining room and bar are so nice. Specially Amelia, she is outstanding for friendliness and makes you feel special. There's plenty of car parking at the hotel as well.
