We spent a week here for a family holiday and absolutely loved it. Spacious rooms. Water park was a hit!! Location was perfect. Rockhampton allowed us to slow down in our life compared to Brisbane ! It was just what we needed. The park itself was well maintained and clean and beautiful! We had a blast!!!!nParents don’t be afraid to have a slide and join in the fun! You won’t regret laughing alongside your babies.
I cannot describe the day I had before booking here, I'm a local and had a day from hell. When I called, I had a little rant and cry and she booked my room instantly and told me to be on my way. When I got there I was greeted by the most beautiful staff. Who had heard about my sook and took it apon themselves to go completely above and beyond, in kindness, hospitality and human to human connection, after another cry and as many thank yous as I could muster, I went to my room and was shocked on how clean, homely and beautiful my room was, full of towels and cosy blankets. I didn't have the ask for a single thing, even with my two kids on my hip. My toddler is autistic, and very uncomfortable in new places, this was fun, inviting and exciting, I didn't expect him to sleep, he did! Even my 6 month old had a comfortable night sleep, I cannot recommend this place enough, and if I every need somewhere to go, I'm going here. Thank you again, to everyone there. I appreciate everything so much.
This is a really great park for families. We stayed a few nights on our travels and the kids loved the waterpark and nice roads to ride their bikes. The pools are great. The entire place is very clean and the staff polite and helpful. We recommend for all.nnCongrats team good work.
We needed a last-minute booking on Boxing Day, and Greg went above and beyond to help us secure a site, store our van, and make everything run smoothly. He was incredibly helpful and friendly.nnWe’ve now visited the park twice, and Greg has been absolutely fantastic both times. All the staff have been incredible. Thanks to them, Discovery Rockhampton has become our favourite place to stop.nnRegards,nTyla & Matt Morris
I would give 1 star for this place. No WiFi to cabins as stated as a park feature. Cabins have marks on walls and blinds. Skirting isn't clean. Mould in bathroom drain. Maintenance guy is very stand-offish and accusatory. Don't call him dude because his ego can't handle it. I would not recommend staying here. The ladies at reception are lovely enough for first point of contact. Anything beyond that is a complete waste of your money.
