Story

Cooberrie Park is set on 25 acres of rainforest and bush land. Our kangaroos are free roaming so you can get up and close and also hand feed them with animal food available to buy at the kiosk. We have a daily interactive animal show at 1pm where different animals are brought out to meet you. The koala also makes a special appearance at the show. If you love your wildlife then come along to Cooberrie, have a swim in our pool or bbq lunch in our new picnic area. See you all there :)

Amazing experience! from kangaroo to koala to dingo these animals are happy, friendly and inquisitive; safe within a peaceful and idyllic environment. Many of the animals are free to roam the expansive and well maintained park and grounds, whilst many more are taken from abusive or unsafe homes and given comfort and care. All of the animals receive fresh food, and the team of rangers were always busy going between the enclosures affording each species special attention. The amenities were of excellent quality, a clean and well maintained pool as well as barbecues, seating and toilets make Cooberrie a great family day out even on the hottest day. Brilliant value for money, so much more than other zoos can offer. Feeding these animals by hand is an unmissable experience! Most of all, the owners were some of the kindest and most friendly people we’ve met on our travels. Please give Cooberrie a visit! x

Cooberrie Park is a great place to get up close and personal with Australian wildlife! There are interactive shows and an open feeding area where you can walk right up to kangaroos, wallabys, and emus. On top of it all, they are a non-profit animal rescue for exotic animals in Queensland. They deserve your patronage and support!

We had such a fantastic day at Cooberrie Park. The animals were wonderful, and the staff were just fantastic. Definitely recommend visiting, and make sure you stick around for their Show, being able to interact and hold so many animals was the highlight of the day! Great place for all ages, would definitely return and recommend to anyone and everyone!

Had a great day with family, our granddaughters thoroughly enjoyed being hands on with the animals. You could see their confidence grow as the day went on. The staff were very friendly and professional. Would recommend to all
