Located right on Farnborough beach. About 1 km from Yeppoon CBD. Powered and unpowered sites for all sizes and types of RV's and tents. Swim, fish or stroll along the beautiful beach at your doorstep. Camp kitchen and laundry facilities for guests. No pets allowed.

I am absolutely stunned. We have visited this park on a number of occasions, so consider ourselves "regulars".We invited my daughter's family to accompany us on our latest trip. Although we could have booked a single site, we decided to be fair to the park owners and book 2 sites. Both sites were paid for by me.
Unfortunately, my daughter's family had to leave early, so departed with 2 nights' accommodation still left (paid for, of course). Again, to be fair to management, my son-in-law handed the keys for the amenities in so they would not be lost. 
On the same afternoon of their departure I was told to move my car off our second site as some people had booked in. Naturally, I went to comply with this request and was happy that we would not lose their 2 nights' fees as the site had been re-booked. That was when the situation turned nasty. "No refunds for early departure" was the constant reply to my request for clarification of the situation. I can certainly understand that a business such as this needs a policy of this nature and fully expected to see no recompense. The fact that the management then re-booked the site certainly rankled and resulted in a heated exchange which ended with the woman who was demanding my car be removed informing us we were not welcome to return. 
The management informed us that handing the keys in meant my daughter had relinquished the site and the management were entitled to re-book the site.
This is the first time we have ever encountered such treatment and it has certainly coloured our opinion of this business.
As I understand the situation, we have paid for two sites, not for keys, and that site is ours until we leave. Unfortunately, I can only deal with "fair" and am, perhaps, not as clever as the business people running this park. I do believe that we are not entitled to a refund for early departure as this is clearly stated, but we also retain the right to the particular site until we leave.

Great place to stay for camping. Nice and friendly staff, clean toilets and showers and the best was the amazing view. We were lucky to have a beach side front.
Definitly recommended.

Friendly , on the beach , relaxing. Yeppoon is a great little beach town. A miniature Gold Coast. Love it.

Friendly hosts. Clean, decent amenities. Highest pressure shower I've had in a long time. The sites are okay. Paid for beachfront and the breeze was nice.
