Lois was the perfect hostess. Lots of info about the surrounding area. The room was super clean and such a comfy bed. A short walk across the road to the huge beach of Yeppoon, ideal for a sunset walk into town for dinner.

We had a great2 night stay at While Away, 2nights in a perfect setting. Lovely room, Hosts where very helpful, Breakfast one you couldnt fault. This was just a stop over on the way up to Airlie Beech. I would recomend & am doing to Friends doing the same.

Freundliche Unterkunft, die jedoch in die Jahre gekommen ist Auf Empfehlung waren wir für eine Nacht im While Away. Wir wurden von der Gastgeberin sehr freundlich empfangen. Unser Wunsch nach einer zweiten Bettdecke wurde sofort erfüllt und wir waren schnell eingecheckt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer nach vorne heraus und waren die einzigen Gäste in der Nacht. Das Zimmer war sauber, jedoch sehr altmodisch. Für Allergiker nicht geeignet, da viel Stoff im Raum ist. Teppiche, dicke Gardinen etc. Das Bed&Breakfast wird als "Luxus" Unterkunft dargestellt. Dies konnte ich nicht nachvollziehen. Es ist alles ordentlich. Wir haben gut geschlafen und fanden es angenehm, dass das Zimmer einen direkten Zugang vom Parkplatz hatte.Das Frühstück wurde liebevoll mit Rührei zubereitet. Es gab Toast, frisches Obst, Joghurt und Cerealien. Dazu Saft und leckeren Kaffee aus dem Vollautomaten. Auf den Weg bekamen wir gute Ausflugstipps. In nur wenigen Minuten ist man zu Fuß am breiten Strand und in nur 20 Minuten im Zentrum von Yeppoon. Die Gemeinschaftsküche (Frühstücksraum) kann genutzt werden. Es gibt einen extra Kühlschrank für die Gäste.
