Story

The Southside Holiday Village is a locally family owned business which was established in 1973 as a caravan park, over the years it has been transformed from a traditional caravan park into a quality cabin accommodation provider.

Southside Holiday Village is a member of the Top Parks Association (formerly Top Tourist) and was one of the founding parks to this national association.

The Southside Holiday Village has been operating for over 40 years, making itself a reliable, well recognized, established locally owned business. One of the major contributors to our success is the very high standards in regards to quality of grounds maintenance, accommodation facilities and the pride housekeeping takes in keeping our accommodation immaculately clean.

The Southside Holiday Village offers such a wide range of accommodation, unlike other accommodation providers in Central Queensland. Southside Holiday Village provides customers with many options from luxury/corporate accommodation to budget accommodation. We strive to meet the needs and requirements of all travellers business and leisure.

Southside Holiday Village Rockhampton is just 5 minutes’ drive from Rockhampton Train Station, the Botanic Gardens and Rockhampton Zoo. The beautiful Yeppoon is only a 45-minute drive away.

Offering many ranges of accommodation to suit each individual traveller. All rooms include air conditioning, kitchens and parking spaces.

We feature a small shop for everyday supplies such as snacks, drinks, canned foods, chips, ice cream and newspapers.
