Riverside Tourist Park is set on the northern bant of the Fitzroy river less than a 10 minute walk from city centre.

Riverside Tourist Park is set on 5 acres right on the banks of the Fitzroy river and only a short walk into the heart of Rockhamptons city centre. Here at the caravan park we offer all varieties of accomodation these include unpowered & powered sites for tents and caravans, onsite vans, self contained cabins and villas.Riverside Tourist Park is part of the Family Parks network which entitles any member to a 10% discount off our advertised full price, also on request we also have a weekly rate, conditions do apply. For use by our guests we have a tv/recreation room, bbq, childrens playground, pool, internet facilities, gas refills, small grocery lines, laundry and fully serviced amenities .Fishing in the river can be very productive barramundi, king salmon and grunter on offer with the boat ramp located at the far end of the caravan park, also you can fish any were along the banks of the Fiztroy river. If you would prefer a walk this could be a very interesting time as we have the city centre across the bridge which is less than a ten minute walk once you are in there you will be fascinated by the architecture of the old buildings,walking in the opposite direction you will encounter a totally different part of Rockhampton, "The Kershaw gardens ". These are landscaped gardens which stretch for about 2km with tracks winding around the gardens which represent a natural Australian bush environment.If you are looking for some where to eat there is a bowls club next door, KFC, dominos pizza and a number of pubs in close walking distance.
