Designer Delights is a Patisserie/Cafe located in the heart of Charlestown. Providing you with a range of cakes for special occasions, a breakfast and lunch menu or just a cup of coffee with friends, Designer Delights offers quality products, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. All our products are baked fresh on the premesis (excluding our bread!) and we also pride ourselves on having quality products that not only look amazing but taste fantastic too!

Best cakes. I have reviewed befor but feel as I continue to visit and order cakes that an update is always good as places can change. This just keeps getting better. Just discovered the sour cherry muffin! Had several more cakes made and always amazed at results. Very delicious too.

Designer delights from the first contact were so fabulous to deal with!  Not coming from this area made it quite challenging to organise a birthday cake for my partner but Penny made it so simple and straightforward and the cake, omg! so delicious - caramel mud cake for two people - seriously stunning - highly recommend annnd delivery was available too!!   Thank you so much for everything penny!!!

We recently received two delicious cakes from here as a gift on Fathers Day. They were really delicious to taste and they look fabulous. Can’t comment on the price as they were a gift. Recommend if you are looking for funky delicious cakes.

Bought a cheesecake today after ordering a few days ago.  The cheesecake was so thin I thought hubby had left the other half at the shop when he brought it home. It was a rip off!  Another disappointing experience with Designer Delight and all I can say from previous experiences and this experience is that they are a rip off. Not to mention their customer service is hit and miss.  Very disappointed.

Place was very clean and well lit. Friendly staff and great cherry muffins and hot tea.

I purchased a 12inch square cake for my Dad's 90th and a Berry cheesecake. We were so thrilled how the main cake turned out with the photo and everyone raved about the cheesecake as well. Thank you
