I want to give the biggest shoutout to Lesley at Chermside! She went above and beyond to help me, even calling my mechanic directly to make sure everything was sorted. She was warm, patient, and genuinely lovely to deal with. Lesley turned what could have been a stressful Friday afternoon into one of the most enjoyable trips to TMR I have ever had. Her kindness and sense of humour made the whole experience such a breeze. Absolute superstar!
I attended to change my name. As I had mobility issues, the service officer offered a sit down desk and advised I would be called to counter 12.nI sat there and watched 3 people called to counter 12. The third person left and returned 15 min later and went to counter 12. The whole time the person was away from desk, the staff member did not serve another customer. After the customer left, the staff member continued NOT to serve customers for an additional 10 min and then went on tea break. As there were no serving sit desks, I was called to a stand up desk, 48 minutes after checking in and watching many people go ahead of me.nTom was lovely and very helpful. Which is why I gave this review a 3 and not a 1 star.nPerception was definitely either preferential treatment or laziness. Perception for counter 12 was definitely not of the exceptional customer service skills displayed by Tom.
I visited the Chermside office early this morning to register my car. Being of the older generation, somewhat less familiar with modern technology and procedures, I went with concern at what confronted me.nWhat I found made my day!!! The office was incredibly efficient and comfortable, the young lady, who served me ,....was friendly, helpful and caring......a total Gem.!!!nIt turned out to be a great start to the day.
A huge thank you to Shay on the front desk who helped us all to get to the right ticket counter as efficiently as quickly as possible, given it was almost close to closing. Then also a huge thank you to Taylor, who made the painful process of getting me a replacement license easy and pleasant.nThank you ladies for being outstanding public servants
No public toilets?!!! I found the toilets at both floors but was told by an arrogant worker, who happened just came out of the ladies room, who obviously works in this building, that the only toilets I can use are the ones in Westfield Shopping Centre. Sitting here and looking at all these customers, 50 or 60 of them at this moment. I hope this department never have to clean up an accident one day.
