Lovely little venue with great staff. Jo was amazing every time we were served by her. Very friendly and went out of her way when we had a mischievous game piece run away and hide in plain sight from us. We all had wonderful meals and also had desserts which were also really good.
There is continually excellent service and yummy food at Deception Bay Tavern. We were looked after by staff member Amy, who is always friendly and goes above and beyond to deliver outstanding customer service. I tried the new DBay Mixed Grill, which is good value for money with everything you need if you are hungry, and the Lemon Myrtle Citrus Tart, which was very delicious. Thank you for the welcoming experience.
Never had a bad meal here. Always something delicious to order no matter what time of year. Can't really fault it. Mexican parmi is pictured.
Best service especially for the from the lady and chef work on 26/3. The best food we had from tavern after long time. We had the pork ribs with good flavour and portion, definitely good crunchy chips. Fettuccine up to standard and good portion
Food was horrible, roasted vegetable salad was drenched in dressing, vegetables were barely roasted, chicken wings were dry and soaked in sauce, ribs were dry and again just soaked in sauce. Service wasn't much better, no cutlery given with mains, no name badges on, me&u items available on me&u but not at the till, items were unavailable on me&u but available at the till. Definitely would not recommend. Came on a Saturday night but in was dead can see why.
