We, at Daana, welcome you, your family and friends to a celebration of unique original Indian food (especially South Indian cuisine) and warm hospitality.

Story

We believe some of the most innovative dishes originate from regional and street food and we specialise in authentic ‘original Indian food’, especially South Indian cuisine. We at Daana do it for our love for cooking and the joy of giving and sharing.

This place has some great authentic Indian food that’s off the beaten path. As an Indian and a food aficionado I can say this is the best I’ve had. The service is impeccable.. I’ve always had a great experience along with some fantastic food. Ask the owner Sanjay for some recommendations if you’re not sure what to order!

Cosy suburban eatery serving South Indian food. Prices appreciably higher than for similar Canberra restaurants with corkage of $8 a bottle. A couple having dinner will get little change back from $100!

Wow, so glad the wife and I stumbled upon this hidden gem. Some of the best Indian food I've had anywhere. Focus on Southern Indian cuisine (lots of sweet seafood style recipes) with lots of heat. This ain't your normal white washed Canberra Indopak place with overpriced naan, fancy chandeliers and watered down curries. If you want some authentic flavor at reasonable prices, check it out. We will definitely be back!

What's good : Ambience South Indian Options and Vegetarian food. Experience : Decent food, Great Ambient place. some nice selection of vegetarian food. Watch out for : Oily Food. Starters especially deep fried one's were bit oily.
