Best to call in advance to order as they are busy. We went around 6 pm Sunday and waited around 30 minutes for our takeaway.nnBurgers were okay but there wasn’t much sauce.nnPotato scallops were really good! A bit on the greasy side but I enjoyed it.nnChiko roll is passable. I just had one bite to try and couldn’t eat the rest. Inside I think it’s a mushy texture of ground chicken and vegetables.nnStill decent overall. Would go back for the potato scallops and to try their pizza
Has this place changed owners?? It sure seems like it. Fish was super greasy and stodgy, “house made” prawn cutlets were very obviously purchased frozen from supplier. It’s definitely nothing like it once was. So greasy none of us could finish our meals.
We travel 35 minutes to come to try the famous e burgers we had been hearing about.nnThe burgers were good, but not the best of Canberra.nnThe staff was super friendly nnThe problem is that there was not possibility of eating inside, and outside was freezing cold.nnEven only a small table and 2 chairs would have made the experience so much better.nnThe pizza menu looks really good but haven’t tried it.
Every time I have gone to this takeaway there has been a problem. If it’s not the best food its stuffing up the orders or waiting excessively. Tonight is the straw that broke the camels back. They refused to take orders 1 hour before their advertised closing time and when asked what time they will close in future the answer was “depends”. So obviously fluctuating closing times. Give them a try I sm confident that they will stuff something up. Go at your own risk youve been warned.
Many people says this place has best chips. So i went there and ordered small potion for myself. Instead of giving me small one, the guy asked me to give medium one. It was $8. I actually wanted to taste it and didn't complain and got the medium one.nnBut actually the chips were not good as expected. No special taste nor crispiness. Can't understand how this place is told as best place for chips. I think even limelite cinema in south point has better chips than this place.nnI actually didn't eat 1/3 of it.. sorry to say that..
