Thought we’d drop in on the way home and order some takeaway tonight. Pick up is always better right? Chips and scallops were dark brown and soaked in grease. Chips were also stuck together in clumps & burnt. I felt ill after a scallop and handful of chips. Very disappointed
Had a craving for a few potato scallops and a basic burger. This place didn't disappoint! Served by two very friendly and polite young lads. Efficient service and great food.. I ordered two potato scallops and I found out later they threw in an extra one with my order. Didn't notice until I'd pulled up in a nice setting to devour my haul. Will definitely go back. Look like they do heaps of other food like pizza later in the day too. I was there mid afternoon and initially thought they were closed as there weren't any hot foods in the Bain Marie servery things, and the lights to those were also switched off. Was great to learn they were definitely open and supplied me with the above tasty scallops and a yummy burger.
Tonight’s experience was exceptional. Wonderful service, wonderful people. I ordered two large pizzas, and a ham/cheese plus chips and scallops . Every single item was 10/10. What a wonderful dinner after a long week with a sick Bub. Thank you. -thanks for the chat with the owner . An owner who really cares about his customers and getting things right . Trinity
I have had a lot of good experiences there but my past few orders have made my opinions change a little bit. I prefer picking up because every time I choose delivery the chips feel like they aren't as crisp and fluffy as I have come to expect. On top of that, my most recent order was met with potato scallops that still had uncooked batter inside it and fairly undercooked potato, the raw batter was a far worse issue. I was able to squeeze batter out of it. The fish however, was as good as ever. I am disappointed to be giving this more negative review because this was one of my favourite places to order for quite a while. Parking: Depending on the time, be aware that parking is limited in the actual car park because it tends to be pretty busy.
Incredibly delicious, fantastic staff! Hidden gem of a takeaway, we will continue to make the trip to eat. Burgers are our favourite, but the fish ans chips were awesome too. Don't even get me started on the potato scallops, AMAZING! highly recommend
I had to make a large order with sever food requirements and the staff were so helpful and accommodating! They even threw in some hot chips for free!! I encourage you to support this business. The pizza is the best in Canberra!
We visited the store, but didn't purchase anything. The staff member who handled our questions, though pleasant enough may have been new, as he couldn't answer them, and did have to ask some to another staff member. There are no prices either online or in store. $13 for one piece fish, no chips, us quite pricey, especially when we elsewhere it included the chips! I did read reviews, and they were mixed, so decided to give them a go. It didnt look very appealing. Parking is also a problem here
Absolutely disgusting. Drenched in oil, cheap quality ingredients, 0 flavour, pizza bases are soggy and floppy, pizzas are overloaded with cheese, undercooked. Threw all the food in the bin, don’t waste your money. No idea how there are good reviews here….
Great fish and chips in Kambah, professionally managed and easy to order and pay via their website. Canberra's best potato scallops!Food: 5/5
This was our first experience for years as we don't live nearby anymore but we got the most beautiful pizza tonight home delivered the Gran Supreme.. absolutely delicious !!
