Great service and the food was incredible and fresh. Homemade potato scallops were mind blowing. I was disappointed at how small the drink selection was and it lead me to not purchase one. The outside eating area was a mess from the last people who sat there and it didn't look very ergonomic so I just sat in my car instead. My car floor is now happily covered in chicken salt.
We travel 35 minutes to come to try the famous e burgers we had been hearing about.nnThe burgers were good, but not the best of Canberra.nnThe staff was super friendly nnThe problem is that there was not possibility of eating inside, and outside was freezing cold.nnEven only a small table and 2 chairs would have made the experience so much better.nnThe pizza menu looks really good but haven’t tried it.
Usually good but last time we got mostly undercooked raw food. We would rather wait for cooked food than get fast undercooked food
*Sep/Oct 2024 Potato Cake Pilgrimage*nSouth Side Canberra - The results are in!nLittle Theo's = best Potato Cakes south of the lake!nnDuring September and October I visited dozens of take away shops south of the lake to compare their potato cakes. I was tired of having to drive to Charnwood or Braddon to get my potato cake fix, so something had to be done!nnAfter trying literally dozens of Take Away shops in the Weston, Woden, and Tuggeranong regions, I can say there are 2 shops that stand above the rest. Coming in second place was the Chisholm shops take away. And coming in first place by quite some margin, for the best Potato Cake south of the lake is Little Theo's!nnP.s. in addition to their great Potato Cakes, their Battered Savs are also fantastic! Considering how few Take Away stores go to much effort on their Battered Savs, I would be shocked if these weren't the best in Canberra.
Visited our favourite takeaway, for our usual fish and chips.nTo all of our disappointment the fish have shrunken, and look like the stuff you buy at the grocery store, we ordered the famous potato cakes they were great , but when you cut corners on your fish very disappointed and two little slice of lemon for 3 pieces of fish.nSo 6 potato cakes 3 fish, family chips and a cheese burger, gravy come in at around 80 to 90 dollars.nWhy don't you increase your price, a little more if needed why cut corners, last couple of times the fish was large and extremely tastynDon't think I'll be back anytime soon.
